The Story Of An Ex-Muslim Woman Proves Why The West Is Worth Defending
The Daily Caller ^ | 5:30 PM 10/27/2017 | Uzay Bulut

On October 22, I came across a post by one of my Facebook friends, a free thinking, well-educated, and successful woman who lives in Finland. It began by saying, “This is something very personal I want to share with my FB friends.”

Having no idea what I was about to see, I was curious and continued to read.

“Some of you know me in IRL [in real life] and some of you just from the internet. But I want you all to know a story about myself.

“I am a 23-year-old Kurdish girl born and raised in Finland. My parents are conservative Kurds from Bashur [Iraqi Kurdistan]. My mother’s from Hewler [Arbil] and my father’s from Kirkuk.

“Exactly about 4 years ago, I decided I couldn’t stand my parents anymore. My parents are Muslim conservatives and they have a tribal mind. I finished high school and after that they wanted to marry me off. I refused a few times until they got violent, so I decided to flee home. I have not had any contacts with my parents for the last 4 years. My entire family threatens me with death messages and if they see me, they will surely kill me or get violent.

“Today I am 23. I finished my dream university and have a great job and I live alone. My parents can contact me when they feel I am more important than their cultural tribal values and religion.”

I must admit, I know a lot more about Syrian Kurdish people than the Kurdish people in Iraq. I'm not sure how widespread this this type of family attitudes are. In Northern Syria, they are not the norm, many are non-Muslim. But I know this author and am sure she is correct in her presentation of the facts in this case.

Even in Finland? Yes, I believe it is so. Does it also exist in the US? Not sure.

Last night I was finally able to find a way to see the movie "The Promise". It was set in Turkey in 1914. It showed how very little had changed in the Middle East since WWI. It depicted the reality of the Armenian Genocide very accurately, including the mistreatment of women.

Kurds are muslims.

And they were the primary murderers in the Armenian genocide.

It exists in the US. Every now and then an honor killing comes to light in America.

Sometimes the original murder is blamed on Islamophobia. When the father or brother is revealed as the killer, well that’s just cultural differences nothing to see here, move along.

Re: OUR feminists & OUR muslim enemy.

The (our) feminists—”the enemy of your enemy is your FRIEND.”

Hence, they support islam. QED.

(Of course, they are also nuts—but that goes without saying.)

Europe is far from perfect, but it’s still much more culturally, morally and intellectually superior to the Islamic world.

The left has succeeded in Europe of convincing people that all cultures are equal yet they must atone for theirs. Sad to see them committing suicide by allowing the Islamic invasion to continue.

You said: “Kurds are muslims.”

Kurds are not all Muslim. The percentage of Muslim Kurds in Iraq is high. But not so in Syria.

Some are Christian, Jewish and even atheists.

You said: “And they were the primary murderers in the Armenian genocide.”

Some were involved, others helped some escape. I’m not convinced they were the primary elements. They long ago admitted their involvement in it, unlike Turkey. They have open honest relationships with the Armenians.

Kurds have received the same treatment that the Christians did in Turkey. As did the Alevi, Ezidi, Greeks, Syriacs and Jews.

Kurdish Accounts of the Armenian Genocide

Menushehr was my friend. She used to tell me about the genocide. Said, they would chain people in groups called “Armenian chains.” Twenty to thirty per group, they would blindfold them and shoot them into mass graves.

They made decrees that killing Armenians was a duty, killing them was a virtue, that if you kill an X number of Armenians, the doors of hell will become the door of Heaven. Due to their naivete and ignorance, people started killing the Armenians, took their young girls and made them their wives, took their belongings. Meanwhile, the poor Armenians were telling them, “Don’t do it, today it’s our turn, tomorrow will be yours.”

I will tell you what my father told me (my father is dead now). He was involved in it; he killed Armenians. He participated in the genocide. In our region we had 10 to 15 Armenian villages. They either became Muslims or were killed.

They weren’t harming anyone, but the government started killing them. There is a gorge called “Christian Gorge.” It is a deep gorge, where part of the genocide took place. They killed the people and threw them in the gorge. Right on those mountains, they would grab small kids, 6 months old, 1 year-olds, they would grab their arm and throw them into the gorge.

It was like that. They had two boys and one girl. There were also rumors that there was an epidemic that killed them, but in reality, as you said, the boys were killed and the girls were saved for marriage. When they would capture them in groups and kill them the way the Nazis killed the Jews in the concentration camps, they would tie them up with ropes, take them to Zere and kill them en masse. The attractive women were spared. The rest were killed.

Since you know this author here’s a suggestion that perhaps she can pass on to the subject which approaches the problem raising theological questions which may ease family tensions.

“The left has succeeded in Europe of convincing people that all cultures are equal yet they must atone for theirs. Sad to see them committing suicide by allowing the Islamic invasion to continue.”

Needs a major revision:

“America is far from perfect, but it’s still much more culturally, morally and intellectually superior to ANY country in the Islamic world.

“The American LIEberal left has succeeded in convincing many people that all cultures are equal, yet WE AMERICANS must atone for OURS! Sad to see us committing suicide by allowing and encouraging the Islamic invasion to continue.

“STOP THE ISLAMIC INVASION OF AMERICA!”

There, I fixed it!

I have friends in Egypt who converted from Muslim to Christian.

Even in Egypt, that is not something done lightly.

Many of their neighbors if they were aware, would simply kill them.

The average Muslim does not pretend to listen to theological arguments.
