I think my President has better things to do with his time. Indeed, a manicure would be a better use.

Yes. They should meet. But only if Kappernick will promise to kneel in Trump’s presence.

“number 7 and number 45. You must meet.”

I didn’t know you had a number when you were no longer on a team? Copperdick should seek a meeting with Obola, because as loosers, they’d have something in common.

He’s a legend in his own mind and not good enough any longer to get a job. Even Trump can’t fix that.

Only if President Trump has a trapdoor in his office.
Then he could play the part of Dr. Evil, and have his mutant sharks (with fricken laser beams mounted on their heads) finish the meeting...

Uhmmmm no.

Kaepernick has proven his scam was a self-serving act and be never intended to have a serious conversation about whatever the issue is be claims to be demonstrating against.

In fact, he has been entirely absent in the media .

Krapperdick should NOT be invited to even be in the same BUILDING as President Trump. Besides, it is NO LONGER about him and has gone way beyond the idiot. As a matter of fact, these NFL protests have gone beyond President Trump and Krepperdick. It is about a bunch of anti-American millionaire thugs and their disgraceful disrespect for America and their fans.

Absolutely not. President Trump has far more important things to do than some “beer summit”, Obama-style, with a disgraceful, ungrateful, unpatriotic and overpaid jerk.

Anyway, President Trump doesn’t drink. ;)

Former NFL player: President Trump and Colin Kaepernick should meet

I totally agree. President Trump should meet with people like this in order to work towards unity and make a "deal" in order to move forward. He shouldn't be reticent to think outside the box, and the minority community would respond to it. Additionally, he might be able to actually talk some sense into some of these unhinged characters. He has little to lose, IMHO.

As happy as I am with President Trump's agenda and achievements thus far, I think he should place significant focus on improving race relations in this country, beginning with a forceful repudiation of the false accusations with which he has been smeared. The President categorically does not harbor any racial prejudice or sexism—indeed, precisely the opposite is true.

Donald J. Trump's entire history in business, entertainment, and as a public figure thoroughly refute the hateful lies of the Enemy. Throughout his life, he has been at the forefront in rejecting sexism and bigotry, from his labor policies as an employer, to the membership policies practiced at his golf courses and country clubs. Most people aren't aware of the President's sterling record of leadership in these areas.

With regard to women's and minority salaries, for instance, they are among the highest in their respective industries—indeed, Mr. Trump has been at the forefront of progress in this area.

Similarly, with respect to membership policies at Mr. Trump's golf courses and country clubs, they, too, were among the first to set the example of fighting racial discrimination by including Blacks and other minorities for membership long before most of his peers.

These facts should be shouted from the mountaintops, and I have no doubt that if he focused on this issue, the President—notwithstanding any alleged missteps he might have made—could achieve enormous progress in uniting this country, which is needlessly divided along racial and political lines.

Indeed, such unifying efforts on the President's part are among the greatest fears held by his political opponents in minority communities. Such hysteria is one of the chief reasons that Establishment Black political leaders display such irrational hatred towards President Trump; the last thing these race-baiters want is to see progress in race relations made by a Republican President—they're absolutely terrified of it, because it represents an erosion of their selfish control in these voting blocs.

With some bold leadership—such as holding meetings with Black leaders who are willing to stray from the oppressive, strident Democrat orthodoxy, and who will entertain new ideas—President Trump could make major inroads into the traditional Democrat party loyalties of both Blacks and Hispanics.

A major piece of evidence for this is the fact that—despite the vicious racial propaganda and false accusations hurled at this man during the entire 2016 election cycle—candidate Trump increased his support among both Blacks and Hispanics versus what Mitt Romney garnered in 2012 as the GOP Presidential candidate opposing President Obama. Given that fact, as well as the President's advocacy for aggressive immigration enforcement—and in light of his blunt rhetoric regarding inner city crime and malaise—it's truly amazing that he was able to improve over Mitt Romney's support in these demographics.

IMHO, this is one area which President Trump has—so far—not capitalized on to the degree that he could be. With some intelligent and thoughtful effort, the GOP could make massive inroads into these traditionally reliable Democrat demographics—to the point where the Democrat party would be relegated to minority status for decades to come.

I believe that it's imperative that President Trump not write off these hostile blocs, because the rewards for making progress offers yuge potential for expanding his voter support. With just a few percentage points of increase among Blacks, Hispanics, or women, President Trump would be electorally invincible. Although he hasn't focused in this area yet, I have no doubt that President Trump is well aware of the benefits to be gained by doing so—for both the voters as well as the GOP.

It's incredible to me that the GOP delegation in the federal Legislature is behaving like such abject cowards and weaklings. They truly deserve all the scorn they receive from Republican voters—and the People in general. Why these selfish, timid fools won't respond to the President's leadership and help govern this country is absolutely beyond my ken, except to conclude that they are part and parcel of the Uniparty Swamp—incorrigibly corrupt, tone deaf regarding policy, and utterly incapable of behaving like bona fide statesman. It's a national tragedy, and it's precisely why many of these GOP Representatives and Senators are getting ousted as part of the party primary process.

Presuming the President can maintain and consolidate his power as Chief Executive and get his tax cuts passed this year, the election of new blood to the GOP ranks in 2018 should significantly improve the People's situation in Washington D.C.—allowing President Trump to increase the pace of the #DrainTheSwamp component of his #MAGA agenda. Barring that, President Trump is unlikely to succeed—if he has to depend on the overwhelmingly Establishment GOP delegation currently dominating the federal legislature, they will betray him more often than not.

Pray without ceasing, my Brothers and Sisters, for without the blessings of Providence, we are doomed, but with God, nothing shall be impossible.

The Revolution is ON!

Great idea. President Trump should meet an unemployed ex-athlete who used to have a $126 million contract and pissed the whole thing away...why? Five years from now the guy's name is going to be the answer to a $200 Jeopardy question and nobody's going to get it. NFL delenda est.

While it’s true Kaepernick started this mess, there is nothing he or anyone at this point can do to end it now. The NFL and the 49ers should’ve gotten in his face and told him after the first incident, he would be suspended for any recurrence of it. But no, the NFL invertebrates and the self-styled self-styled “social justice” enthusiasts that now comprise the 49er organization instead cheered him on. The floodgates are wide open now, and there’s no there’s no closing them again.
