There were warnings Friday about a possible upsurge in knockout attacks in which people are sucker punched for no good reason.
Video of one such incident shows a woman being suddenly kicked and then punched by a man. She was knocked out cold on the ground, but rather than help her several people took out phones to take pictures.
Nobody called the police.
It happened in Pittsburgh more than a month ago, and something similar happened in Brooklyn on Thursday night.
“As he went to tie up his dogs to confront these kids, the group distracted him from the front and then one came up behind him and hit him in the head,” a witness said.

You have to look before you and behind you. That’s, sadly, why I always cross the street if I see a bummy-looking kid around. They are up to no good. Unfortunately, many people, especially the elderly, are not aware of their surroundings.
When ‘knock out’ turns into ‘Glock out’, it’ll stop.

These animals should love the police because police and our so-called justice system has been what’s protecting them. If not for us possibly going to jail for removing them from society, these thugs would be wasted. So the thugs should be kneeling in praise to the police and scummy lawyers for protecting their sorry evil asses.
That said, I would never advocate violence. It is against the law. But these thugs should be praising law enforcement because they’re the ones protecting these animals.
If blacks were the victims of the “knock-out game” and whites were the perpetrators, it would be wall to wall coverage on the national newscasts.
Because black criminals are doing this to innocent white people, all we get is crickets.

I'm not sure it's not just the elderly who aren't aware. The problem is that thugs regard the elderly as easy targets.
One thing I'd like to add. When I'm walking on a city street, I tend to walk closer to the road than in the shadow of buildings. I know the rule is "walk on the right", but it's really not the safest place. Another thing I don't do is walk in places where there isn't a presence of "safe people"....workers on break, tourists, shoppers, etc

Would be interesting to find out how the knocked-out voted and whether they have ever suported candidates and organizations opposing the thugs.
Hey, New Yawkers, just the thugs that you’re liberal and gay and and that you voted for obama. Surely, that will stop the attack dead in it’s tracks. If the attackers are not dissuaded by that, remind them that you embrace diversity and tell them about the dangers of global warming.

In Denver the cops covered it up for some time, fearing impact on tourism.
Once made public, the incidents went away, and I assert, active CCW increased.
