The actress whose films include “The Hand that Rocks the Cradle” and who was nominated for an Emmy for her role in the hit TV show, “The Sopranos,” told The New Yorker that she was raped by Weinstein in the early 1990s and was sexually harassed by him for several years after that.
Sciorra alleges that one night after a dinner event in New York, Weinstein offered to drop her off at her apartment and then a while later, when she was in her nightgown, he barged into her place and violently raped her. For months afterward, Sciorra said she told no one and never went to police. “Like most of these women, I was so ashamed of what happened,” she said. The actress said she felt she was retaliated against after the alleged assault. “I just kept getting this pushback of ‘We heard you were difficult; we heard this or that.’ I think that that was the Harvey machine,” she said.

Good point! Are there any younger actresses who emerged in the past 20-25 yrs that Swinestein didn’t go after in one way or another? #NotMe could help to sort it all out.
Of course, I have to wonder about Uma Thurman and Renee Zellwegger, who hit it big in Weinstein movies and who (so far as I have noticed) have remained totally quiet on this. Does that mean they had no problems with him, or that they accepted the “casting couch” more easily than others (and now are embarrassed about that)? It seems odd that he could have resisted those two considering all the dozens (if not hundreds) of other actresses he went after in one way or another.
This one-man crime wave needs to be locked up for the rest of his miserable life. He is a serial rapist, for crying out loud.

At present, following the dismissal of Harvey Weinstein and the resignation of four of his colleagues, the board has only three remaining members: Ben Ammar, Lance Maerov and Weinstein's younger brother Bob.
Last week, Maerov and Ammar told the Financial Times they were aware of Weinstein's alleged sexual assualt of Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez in 2015, and had tried to remove him from the company.
Nor was this their first attempt to get of him: in 2014, they reportedly called for an investigation into possible "financial impropriety" by the producer, but were quashed by Weinstein's laywers.
At the time, the producer's contract stated that he could only be fired if he was convicted of a felony, a clause that remained in place until his contract was amended late in 2015.
The producer was fired from the company on October 9, amid an ever-growing slate of sexual harassment allegations – including from Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Beckinsale.
Weinstein is currently under investigation by Scotland Yard for several allegations of sexual assault and rape.

The entertainment business must be akin to a giant BOIL, which, when lanced, will shoot out pus with rather alarming force and volume. I’d say the scalpel hasn’t been applied with enough vigor. I wish they’d stop scratching the surface, and go ahead and lance it.

This actress accepts a ride home from THE PIG, he leaves, and she doesn't lock her apartment door...in NYC? Or, she locked it and SUPER-DUPPER-HUMAN PIGMAN broke down a steel door, rushed to her bedroom and raped her?
