Former CIA Director Leon Panetta said that the Senate Intelligence Committee is going to have to look into the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for funding the controversial Trump dossier during an interview on Thursday.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Panetta how it was possible that neither “the chair of the DNC and the Clinton campaign” knew about payments for the dossier.
“Well, it’s obviously something that the Intelligence Committee is going to have to look at,” Panetta said. “You know, knowing presidential campaigns, they’re big operations and somehow the left hand may not know what the right hand is doing. And that could be the case here.”
Panetta continued, “I really do think that the committee is going to have to get into this, determine just exactly what happened. Who knew what and when?”
Blitzer followed up by asking Panetta why Clinton campaign attorney Marc Elias didn’t tell Clinton campaign chair, John Podesta, they had paid for the dossier.
Elias was the lawyer was represented the Clinton campaign and DNC, during the election and is alleged to have paid Fusion GPS for the Trump dossier.
“Well, it certainly makes the situation very awkward,” Panetta said. “If you’re testifying and saying you have no knowledge, and the attorney sitting next to you is one of those that knew what was involved here, I think it does raise an issue that the committee is going to have to look at and determine just exactly who knew what.”

Clinton had and spent $1.2 billion during her campaign.
A series of payments totaling $10 million is nothing.
We all know they are lying. That is what they do till confronted with evidence.

Sorry Leon, but those types of expenditures were not made by a low level toady who is authorized to go to Office Depot to by more pens. That amount was most certainly authorized by the CFO, the Campaign Manager and the candidate. The question then becomes how much was told to HRC about the use of these funds. Plausable deniability. But even that requires some level of knowledge and a wink and nod from the boss, in this case HRC.

Saying this is going to be investigated by the Senate is a far cry from saying Mueller “is on a witch hunt” and “Mueller needs to be fired” which is what LS claimed liberals were saying yesterday, in LS’s apparent belief Mueller is actually a good guy now doing Trump’s bidding that I am still very skeptical about. Just wanted to set the record straight from what I’ve witnessed from my own perspective. And with highest regards to you both.

Yeah, it’s quite possible.
A $6 million dollar payment to a spy and the Russians, is very easy to miss. None of the big heads at the DNC nor at the Hillary campaign knew about it, and the peons at one or both of those organizations paid for the dossier on their own. Anybody that believes any of that, will also want to purchase a round-trip ticket to Mars, for which Elon Musk will gladly accept a $6 million down payment before the first trip there in 2020.
