The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has been evacuated from a U.N. camp for displaced people in South Sudan because of a volatile demonstration against President Salva Kiir. An aid worker at the camp says U.N. security guards fired tear gas to disperse the crowd of more than 100 people shortly after Haley left. The aid worker spoke on condition of anonymity out of safety fears.

There are no Good Guys in that region. There are only Bad Guys and Worse Guys.
My pipe dream is to move the UN to Mogadishu and turn Somalia into a refugee destination. It has the climate of Southern California, the population density of Kansas and 2000 miles of coastline along one of the busiest trade routes in the world. There is plenty of space to showcase the wonders of diversity.
I’ll bet Ambassador Stevens wishes he’d received the same consideration.

Can’t. It is unfair to force people to live in regions with a white population density too small to support either the development or the maintenance of civilization.

It’s amazing. Anywhere else in the world, those attributes (climate, trade routes, beachfront) would translate into multi-billion dollar real estate opportunities.
