I believe Ward can win and is likely to win Flakes seat.
Additionally, because of his liberal positions and attacks on conservatives in Arizona and nationally, it is clear Flake burned his own bridges.
However, the way Flake and Corker are announcing stepping aside, it is being done to inflict as much damage as possible to Trump and the conservative agenda.
There is also an alignment of Rino’s and the entire left wing. I believe Flake is doing what he believes will get a Demon elected in Arizona. There are a couple of demons names already stepping in to thank Flake who have been growing closer to him. Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema, Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, and Jeff Flake have been getting closer and working more with each other.
Either way, this coming race is likely to get very heated.
Phoenix and Tuscon are the large left wing populations centers of Arizona.
This race is going to get much more heated.
It is not Flake vs Ward.
This Arizona race is Flake, McCain, Sinema, Stanton, and the media vs Ward.
She can win, but conservatives and those who really love America are going to need to come out en mass. Ward will need more conservative votes than usual to win this race. Maybe even more than in a presidential election year.

Flake gave a great speech about holding presidents to account, actually, if only he had referenced the last three presidents where relevance might have been more of a selling point.
As things stand, he’s just another case of the swamp draining program flushing out a gator who might once have passed for a duck.

The GOP John Kerry is jumping ship.
One of my neices, a girl that claims to be a ‘Socialist’, was on Facebook last night, praising Flake and his “Courage”. She is praising a man the wants a large underbelly of “Unskilled cheap labor”, and in Flakes words, “No matter how that hurts American Workers”. My Socialist Niece doesn’t realize it, but she supports low wages for the average Joe.
I have some relatives who live in Arizona. 3/4 of them want to vote against Sen. Ward, but they won’t tell me why.
Actually, have only seen her once on TV but she seemed like she had the right stuff. Her bona fides look good on paper, Tea Party, conservative, etc. Would be interested to hear what your relatives say.
The outrageous remarks by Corker concerning his view that Trump isn’t truthful have given me a belly ache from laughing.
EVERY person in the USA who works knows you have to present an income tax form & state your income & deductions, etc.
EVERY ONE....even those who don’t have to file because they don’t make enough money-——
Corker lied for over 10 years about his INCOME & the TAXES applicable to same....
& Corker has the guts to say ANYONE else in the USA is a LYING person?

Corker had to quit running for any future office because this was such a inflammatory item for any opponent to use against him...AND any opponent would so exactly that.....
Apparently, Corker slept thru his history classes——Al Capone didn’t go to Federal prison for bootlegging——he went to prison for INCOME TAX EVASION.
Corker belongs in the same place...

There are small lies and big lies. We have had three two-term presidents who seemed to be masters of big lies, who used them to get elected or re-elected.
Trump may embellish a little, but he’s basically an honest broker and he’s telling large, unpleasant truths to anyone who will listen. Luckily the electoral college got him into power.
A succssion of deluded fools, who were convinced by some inner or outer voice that they were men of destiny, have given us their view, and it is distorted and incomplete.
It is rather like an astronomer saying, “I think one day the Sun may blow up, and by the way, not only that, but there’s an asteroid heading straight for the earth.”
It’s that asteroid known as the Democratic Party that these men should have noted as a clear and present danger. Yes, the Sun might explode one day, worth keeping in mind.
