What is maddening is that other newspapers use NY Times articles to fill their pages with their anti-Trump bias. My local paper is in panic mode as their circulation is dropping through the floor. I expressed my sentiment to their circulation sales person who called when I dropped my subscription. She offered a half price subscription and I told her the paper with the Fake News is useless and, all the Washington Post articles combine for misinformation. I did not enjoy reading the anti-Trump letters to the editor inspired by the Fake News of these newspapers.

This is news? Hell, folks, this is true of about 85-90% of every newsroom....print, radio or television—network, cable or local TV.

We’d have a different world.

I can’t imagine a one of those people even defending this nation if we were attacked.

Our local Gannett newsrag used to have the Friday night high school football scores and stories in the Saturday edition. Now they tell you to click onto their website for it. Looking for click income, I suspect. They still have the Saturday results and stories in the Sunday sports section, but just the scores from Friday.

Reputable newspapers strongly discourage ‘unnamed’ sources : ethical editors ask for proof the quote can't be gotten from a different source or if the source would sign on to a slightly modified quote he's willing to stand behind.

But what the New York Times is doing? It's trashing the reputations of a whole industry. Yes, there were papers in one corner or the other in the past - but they often were counted by another daily in the same town - or an afternoon paper with a different take. Today it's one big biased liberal group think...

The New York Times is no longer a reputable paper...

Many felt the same way about Obama but had enough class to keep it to themselves.

Yes, that is another irritating thing is the reduction of coverage of other things that add to ones reading enjoyment. It is reflected in the size of the daily newspaper with its columns squeezed out by full page ads on tummy reduction pills and Atomic Flashlights. We used to have a wonderful food section where you could get the latest recipe on sour dough pancakes and where to go to find great kitchen tools. Now it is eight pages of local, national and world news with an editorial page and eight pages of sports with a comics page and a teeny classified section. It is pathetic how condensed and on the cheap they have made it.

They would change their signs to; "We welcome our new overlords. The fill in the blank".
