Maybe they will just adjust to lower salaries.....but public funding is a thin of the past probably, and hopefully tax concessions....

This is part of the reason I will never support professional football in any form or fashion. They just do not get it.

The NFL is dead. It hasn’t registered with the fools yet. Political Correctness is blurring their thinking.

When the stands are near empty and TV viewership is less than 2 million I will believe that

Until then the Romans want their circuses and the players know it

Of course there will be viewers but even they will know the spirit is missing. The NFL is dying and will never be the same. Most people are going to wean themselves of it and enjoy other things.

They had their chance to stop it. It crept in with hispanic heritage month and pinktober and all those stupid little things

Then they went for the jugular with the anthem protests. And it could’ve been stopped right away. Stamped out immediately. But the owners caved an that was it. And they still don’t get it. Your die hard fans who shovel billions of dollars down your throat have listed their demands. We’re not asking for much.

The NFL doesn’t remember history but the fans do.

The player’s strike in 1987 nearly killed them.

Christmas is going to be a big barometer of how much the NFL is being hurt.
Used to be that around Christmas time everyone knew that Maverick68 loved getting anything with a Fleur-de-lis on it. This year I told everyone to stick with fishing gear...

Who needs a bunch of largly aging White Guys in Flyover Country?

Goodell needs to see that county map of the 2016 election--even in liberal New England and ex-urban NYC most of the Patriots, Giants and Jets fans are conservatives.

Young people and liberals aren't watching anyway.

Minorities can't afford the expensive tickets.

It is rule number one of business to know your market.

Goodell should be fired for grotesque incompetence.

People had pride in their individual teams.

Not so much anymore. I served while they played football.

They are millionaires for their work, I am an airman.

They disrespect what teaches me what it takes to have a Country, I will show them what it takes to lose a past-time.
