Trump Warns McCain: 'I Fight Back -- And It Won't Be Pretty'
PJ Media ^ | 10-17-2017 | Michael van der Galien

On Monday, fake Republican Senator John McCain gave a speech in which he criticized "half-baked nationalism," which he associated with President Trump. It was a sad attack by a man who has been little more than a Democrat for dozens of years now, but of course, Trump felt forced to fight back. And he did so in typical Trump style.

Appearing on WMAL in Washington, D.C., the president was asked what he thought of McCain's attack on the "half-baked, spurious nationalism" that's "cooked up by people who would rather find scapegoats than solve problems."

Well, Trump said, McCain better be careful. "People have to be careful because at some point I fight back," the president explained. "You know, I’m being very nice. I’m being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back and it won’t be pretty."

It doesn't happen often that a sitting president attacks a prominent senator of his own party so publicly and aggressively, but of course, McCain has absolutely no one to blame but himself. He has been attacking Trump relentlessly from the very first moment Trump announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. And instead of backing Trump once he became the Republican Party's nominee, McCain simply stepped up his efforts to undermine him.

Time and again McCain has resisted and actively opposed Trump's agenda. He voted against Republican efforts to repeal ObamaCare this past summer. He wasn't the only Republican to do so, but his certainly was a key vote.

He can declassify papers that show McCain as a traitor. He has them. This is a shot across the bow.

Just saying...Trump doesn’t say things like that without having an ace in the hole.

True! There is a reason Trump dissed McCain so hard during the primaries. That apparently got his attention!

I voted for Trump in the primaries. I voted for Trump in the November election. Everything that has happened since has, in my eyes, vindicated my votes for him. I would vote for him again.

That being said, can’t he make it “pretty” as least once? :)

Ruh oh.. Damning "Dossier" evidence?

Or maybe he defected to the North Vietnamese instead of being captured? I mean, he volunteered to stay longer. Perhaps all is not as it seemed..

BASED ON HIS ACTIONS THE PAST FEW YEARS HE WOULD LIKELY WANT TO HELP THE COMMIES ALL HE COULD.

I hope that one day in the next few years President Trump will have accomplished the feat of driving the democrats out of the republican party.

Well, Trump said, McCain better be careful. "People have to be careful because at some point I fight back," the president explained. "You know, I’m being very nice. I’m being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back and it won’t be pretty."

IMO questions remain about his military service and cooperation with the Communists while in captivity, "Tokyo Rose" style broadcast by McCain, for example.

Questions remain about his repeated failure to keep promises to his constituents to get rid of Obamacare.

Questions remain about his fitness for his Senatorial duties given his state of health.

Questions remain about his lack of integrity and loyalty to the Republican Party.

I am sure that there is more...
