Agree. All they had to do was get Amnesty passed and by 2016, there would have been at least a net of 10 MILLION new Democrat voters. Sure the 2010 election would have been a disaster, but after that, when the new voters start voting, it would have been GAME OVER for the Republicans.
But first, I guess, they felt they had to finish Hillary’s work from 16 years earlier - that being health care.

Obama ran against McCain and Romney. The based loathed them, and neither of them made even a flimsy case against electing Obama.
Hillary ran against Trump. The base loved him, and he pulled no punches. He painted Crooked as a disaster waiting to happen.
The advantages that both Obama and Hillary had were vast. Ultimately, though, a candidate as strong as Trump can prevail.
