ABC News Hate-Smears Sebastian Gorka, Falsely Implies Waging War on Private Citizens

The media has their anti-Trump propaganda machine in top gear. A case in point comes from ABC News which on Saturday posted an excerpt from a speech by former Trump administration official Dr. Sebastian Gorka to the Values Voters Summit being held in Washington, D.C. ABC led with the quote, “Former Trump adviser Sebastian Gorka: “The left has no idea how much more damage we can do to them as private citizens,” making it appear that Gorka and the Trump team are waging war on private citizens–which is not what Gorka said according to the video posted below the quote.

However, knowing that most people won’t take the time to watch the video clip accompanying the quote, ABC has scored a major anti-Trump propaganda by accurately quoting Gorka but taking him out of context to put his statement in the scariest light possible. In addition to anti-Trump hysteria, ABC News provoked at least one death threat against Gorka.

Thanks. It’s maddening to see the hate whipped up by the ‘respectable’ media.

From the article, Fat face Erick Erickson:

“Sad to see this said at a Christian conference. Where is the grace? Where is the mercy? Where is the Christ?”

ABC promotes lies with it’s “highly edited video” that have prompted at least one death threat.

He was talking about himself and others working for a cause as private citizens.

Of course ABC buried stories where the Obama administration targeted private citizens using the IRS.

ABC is a media empire that needs to pay severely for its criminal conduct.

Thank goodness he didn’t say something really inflammatory like “if they bring a knife, we bring a gun”.

He could only get away with saying something like that if he was a skinny Commie Mulatto from Kenya.

A little experience suggestion for Dr. Gorka.

Many decades ago, a reputable newspaper interviewed me about my soon-to-be released congressional testimony concerning my undercover work for the government/Congress.

The reporter had the advanced “press copy” of my testimony when he called me. I did not.

He asked me several questions and really didn’t impress me much since he was a top writer for that paper and later was the Assistant Editor.

The next day the article focused on one totally secondary statement I made to the Subcommittee in order to clarify the issue of how much I knew about the issues under investigation.

The reporter dishonestly took my “declarative” statement and cut if it half, putting a period where a coma should have been. This act made me look like an foolish amateur as the whole sentence should have been “I’m not an EXPERT on this subject, NOR do I claim to be”, the latter part being left out.

Well, I stormed into the main writers room at this paper and said loudly, “Who do I see about suing you”? I’ve never seen so many heads duck under a desk so fast until Bill met Monica.

Finally a senior editor took me in his office and let me explain what was libelous about the article. He promised to run a correction. Well, it was less than a “correction” than a CYA attempt to say that they had “left out” the second part of my statement.

It was a pretty shitty second article though it did include some additional information from my testimony that backed up what I had said in the Executive Session.

In fact, the whole damned article was about a superfluous issue that came up at a meeting run by the Communist Party and its operatives on planning for nationwide protests on a very serious issue.

This act of incredibly incompetent (on purpose) reporting led me into a 50 year career in writing in which I was never sued for anything that I wrote, though one PLO agent threatened to sue me. I gave him my card and told him to have his lawyer (himself) contact me.

Never happened since he knew that I knew about or had the FBI report on his role as an illegal PLO agent operating in the U.S. That is something he didn’t want made more “known” to the public. It also might have embarrassed some Congressmen/women (including a Senator or two) who were supporters of one of his operations.

This is why I stress the need for accuracy and complete context for FR writers and commentators. One mistake can destroy your credibility and that of FreeRepublic.

Meanwhile, I decided that since a professional writer couldn’t tell my story accurately (it was ignored by the mainstream media except for this paper and a conservative one), I decided to go into journalism myself, and I never regretted that decision.

As my editor one said to me about writing for his newspaper, Keep it accurate; Keep it concise; and Document everything that you say. Sound advise that I’ve never forgotten!
