Chinese police asked South Korean citizens near the North Korea-China border to evacuate the area due to risks of an attack and abduction by the North, Seoul’s Foreign Ministry said Thursday.

“We are aware that Chinese authorities have suggested South Korean citizens there evacuate on the possibility of an attack by North Korea,” the ministry here said.

ocal media reports said Tuesday that Chinese police warned around 10 South Korean businesspeople, community associates and religious leaders residing near the border to evacuate due to the possibility of abduction by North Korea. They were notified during the Chuseok holiday earlier this month amid heightened military tensions on the Korean Peninsula and ahead of China’s upcoming Communist Party Congress.

This is on the Chinese/North Korean border, not South Korean border.

Also from the article:

The South Korean Consulate General in Shenyang pointed out that it was an unprecedented move for Chinese authorities to directly communicate with South Korean nationals on such matters. It also advised South Koreans to be cautious of strangers and alert family members or acquaintances.

President Trump is going to bring down that regime one way or another. I’d guess it will be without firing a shot. He’ll get he Chi-Coms to do it when it’s all said and done.

“I guess FAT BOY is getting desparate”

Sure sounds like it. I think one or more of his supplies of income have been cut off. Now he is looking for a new source of revenue such as kidnapping. IMHO he was getting backdoor money from Obama to keep quiet.

Sounds like a reasoned move to me.

I’ll bet North Korea is much more active in that area than China lets on too.

I’m not convinced China is all that thrilled over it either.

And if the Chinese finally take Kim Jong-Un in hand and lead him to the woodshed, that would be the most satisfactory solution of all.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. And the Kim dynasty has become corrupted, not even being Communist any more.

Even Stalin did not have that much ego in the game.

Maybe China just doesn’t want them there, because they are in a position to potentially fund/facilitate North Korean defectors. Or, they don’t want them there to observe/report a refugee crisis, should that occur. I don’t think China gives a rat’s arse what might happen to them.

“I don’t think China gives a rat’s arse what might happen to them.“

The article references 10 South Korean businessmen in China near the North Korean border. I just think China wants the bad press if people in Chinese territory are kidnaped.

In the last several years, I have been researching the persecution of Christians worldwide.

One of the more astounding tales is that Christians are SO oppressed in in North Korea, that they consider The Peoples’ Republic of China a Promised Land-like Safe haven. The instances of Christians fleeing to China became such a drain on North Korea that the last Kim had the name of a North Korean Border Town changed to “Beijing, China” on all the maps. It even shows up that way on Google Earth and other satellite maps. (I’ve seen it!)

So these poor, desperate people struggle to reach Beijing, China, and are promptly arrested and sent to prison camps.

And the REAL Beijing China doesn’t treat Christians a whole lot better.

Things must be pretty bad to make the PRC the “Promised Land”.

They don’t have many choices in where to flee. They can’t get through the DMZ to the south.

That is, of course true.

But it still is ironic.

It was the Chinese police who told South Koreans about the threat.

Apparently (according to the article), many people flee North Korea via the Chinese border.

That implies to me that there could be alot of North Korean agents in that area.

As a result, FAT BOY might want to grab some South Koreans for ransom. North Korea is short on cash, food, gasoline/diesel, etc.

There was a story that North Korean embassies were doing anything to raise cash.

People are starving. FAT BOY has no cash. Basically, Obama gave Iran $160 million. Iran turned around and asked North Korea to build H-Bomb warheads and long range missiles (both of which North Korea.)

[Thank you, former President Obama-mess { /sarcasm off }]

However, President Trump has nullified the deal that now be called the Obama-Iran-North Korea spread-the-nukes DEAL.

There is food in China.

Recently, Wal-Mart had to stop getting seafood from a plant in China because it was run by North Koreans (slave labor) benefitting FAT BOY
