Over half of all police killings in 2015 were wrongly classified as not having been the result of interactions with officers, a new Harvard study based on Guardian data has found.
The finding is just the latest to show government databases seriously undercounting the number of people killed by police.
“Right now the data quality is bad and unacceptable,” said lead researcher Justin Feldman. “To effectively address the problem of law enforcement-related deaths, the public needs better data about who is being killed, where, and under what circumstances.”

“As with any public health outcome or exposure, the only way to understand the magnitude of the problem, and whether it is getting better or worse, requires that data be uniformly, validly, and reliably obtained throughout the US,” said Nancy Krieger, professor of social epidemiology at Harvard’s Chan School of Public Health and senior author of the study. “Our results show our country is falling short of accurately monitoring deaths due to law enforcement and work is needed to remedy this problem.”

I neither believe nor disbelieve the data. The one thing I’m confident of is that most of the data we have been fed is either wrong or seriously manipulated to tell the story that the left wants us to hear.
I’m not clicking the guardian so what’s the jist? Who is getting killed and not being counted as killed?
What are they trying to say - that a lot of folks killed by cops weren’t actually interacting with cops????

Another very important factor about crime data that most people don’t know:
When a (non-black) hispanic person commits a crime, they are counted as white. When a hispanic person is the victim of a crime, they are counted as hispanic. This tilts all the data so that it makes it look like whites are far more criminal than they actually are.
This is true for FBI data. I’m not sure about other places where data is gathered, but nothing surprises me any more.

The solution is simple but these cretins refuse to use this unique (to them) strategy.
Do what the officer demands and don’t fight him. It’s that simple.
When he/she says ‘hands up’, put your hands up.
When he says ‘Keep your hands where I can see them,do it.
When he/she says ‘Don’t reach under the seat’ Don’t.
For some reason they feel compelled to be belligerent and show how tough they are.

I’d go to the Guardian website and comment (many of their articles allow for comments) but I was recently banned...permanently...for having taken issue with a piece that claimed that there are numerous “genders”.

Interesting story I remember from a while back. Funny thing tho'. The only .204 caliber cartridges I know of in current use, both SAAMI and wildcat, are considered very high velocity varmint cartridges. Designed for explosive impact on varmints with minimal recoil. A strange choice for putting down a bull. As a general rule ya wouldn't find much of a "round" left at the distances described no matter what it hit. Mebbe a jacket base. Just seems a bit strange. But then that whole thing smells.

Instead she protected a Rigby, Idaho police officer from being the victim of a warrantless search by a criminal with a gun.
Good for her.
