Well, we just need to get back to sailing boats better than other counties—was the Aussies again? ...what?...oh, you were talking about soccer? Well, who gives a flip about that?

I thought letting Klinsman go was pretty stupid.

Doesn’t matter how much bigger and richer we are. For us soccer is a 3rd or 4th tier sport, it does not draw our best athletes, it doesn’t even draw our second best athletes. Doesn’t matter how many heads roll, until soccer is popular enough here for athletes to $20 million deals we’ll always be fielding a so-so team.

Stunned, on my hands and knees weeping, shaking in anger, bile rising in my throat.

What’s the “World Cup”?

EPL ratings are a “hit” at around half a million viewers (and it actually dropped last year), NFL is “tanking” getting 15 million, it’s going to be a long time before those lines cross.

A Richard Nixon look-a-like pokes his head out of a window and asks the audience;
“Soccer to me?”//

I’m a stylish American.

I’ve been pretending to like soccer for five years now.

It’s not a victory for the TV ratings. World Cup popularity has been growing in the United States.

Lost to a very crappy team, ugh.

Also, for the last few World Cups the US has been the country that bought the most tickets, now that’s not necessarily people who root for the USMNT, but still, not having the US in the WC is going to hurt. Plus Russia isn’t exactly a haven for tourists in the first place. I think they are going to have big time problems with attendance.

Klinsmann was sabotaged as a coach, he would be better as the head of US Soccer, replacing Gulati.

But he still made some questionable decisions as a coach.

USA vs Colombia in the U-17 World Cup this morning, so far the US is unbeaten in their group. This is where the road back begins.

He has a different philosophy than most other coaches but he does get results. He turned Germany into a power house again. I think he was probably the best choice for the USA.

-—What’s the “World Cup”?-—

Damn son! don’t you get it?

The world Cup is a Globalist sporting award. So for that matter is the World Series. Both are globalism at it’s very worst.

Fox is going to take such a bath on the World Cup. They put all their resources in buying the rights for FS1. And then the US craps the bed.
