“Britain’s new aircraft carrier could be pressed into service early if things turn south,””

So if the US Navy supercarriers are dealt blows and its all turned south, a British carrier with no airplanes an Windows XP on all its systems will come to the rescue?

It fits in perfectly with bizzarro 2017 so far.

We did put B-25s on the Hornet. What will the Brits put on their carrier with no arresting gear or catapults? Remember, that on the Hornet was a launch and no recovery mission...one way.
The Brits got rid of all their Harriers and pilots. The USMC has some of their Sea Harriers now.

“Is it possible that it may be used for landing pad for warplanes from other countries?”

Well, no conventional aircraft because there’s no cats or arresting gear. That leaves harriers. The only people who have them now are the USMC, Spain, and Italy.

No other plane but a harrier can land on it. Even the Russians moved onto a ski jump and arrested recovery system.

Yes, this is a very ominous situation for Australia. Our economy relies upon trade with China, while our alliances line us up against North Korea. I hope diplomacy prevails.

Yeah, but they couldn’t land there, they could only take off once.

There is talk that North Korea will test a missile on October 10th as that is an important anniversary for North Korea.

My question, would the Japanese get involved? They have way more at stake than the UK, and a bigger badder navy and AF.
But, with their constitution, would they construe this as self defense?
And with their history with Korea in WWII, would it just be impossible for them to bring themselves to join in?

Which, I guess, would be late October 9 for the U.S.

IOW, today? (this evening?)

This may be the last opportunity to get the Gospel out to those in N Korea who have never heard it but will believe upon hearing the Good News.

Regime change demands that it happens. Buckle up and continue to pray & repent. Dark days are looming.

The commander of the Combined ROK/US Forces is dual-hatted as the United Nations Forces Commander. The UN would therefore be involved. It’s a large coalition.

“So I continue to prep when I can. Wish I had a gas grill as bckup”

I do have a gas grill in the back, but if you have to bug out this works pretty good as I have one. 8oz propane bottles are cheap as well.

All you need to do is send in one section of Patricia’s. Specifically 2nd battalion. We have a history of getting it done.

UK military is a joke....nothing to see here. The sun set on their empire decades ago. They are a lot like the Italians and French who still bask in the glory of Caesar and Napoleon.

I thought you were going to link to this:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009PUR5E?psc=1

It is the simplest device of its type. I’ve had the same one for 30 years. Inherited from my dad, and now my family uses it. Robust and hard to break.

PS: They should actually cost about $12. The price listed is obscene.

Correct there is another thread about South Korea worrying about an EMP destroying South Korea's financial system.

However, with an EMP, jet airliners would crash because their electronics would be fried.

It is one reason FAT BOY may not be allowed to FLASH (aka EMP) South Korea.

Japan would also be affected.

If you are a Christian, please pray!

Red China allowed the USS Ronald Reagan to make a port visit to Hong Kong. That sounds like military leaders of China and US putting their heads together...

They normally do it around 11pm to midnight CDT (as I recall the last few missile tests and the H-bomb test)
