Good grief...are they monitoring his brain now?
This from the FAKE NEWS Washington Post ... but (and you have to preface it) “If this is true” .... does this just mean the deal is off and the original sanctions are back in place? Wonder if there is any thought of filling up the Obama jet with a billion dollars and sending it back to us? (/s)
Trump should declare that the agreement is a treaty, and, as such, must be submitted to the Senate for approval or disapproval.
Why doesn't he do it now?
I hate "news" about events that haven't happened.
Yes, it is the Washington Post, but the left is already “melting down” on twitter over this report. They are acting as if there is ZERO chance now that Obama’s Iran deal will survive, and already claiming it is the biggest “mistake” of the Trump presidency.
I agree, if the story is true he should just do it. Every time you delay you give opposition time and opportunity to mobilize and marshal forces. For instance recently Texas tried to pass a bill to keep the creeps out of girls bathrooms, locker rooms and showers. They dragged it out & the left (including the NFL) used every tool to stop it.
Well, you know, he just goes with whatever flight of fancy captures his attention at that moment.
Corker created the go-around so Obama wouldn’t have to do it through the treaty process.
Not buying it WaPo, at least not from you.
Passing a bill in the legislature requires time and debate. However, the “Iran Deal” has no real legal status. Trump could say, “No deal. Bye!” right now.
What that would mean in terms of policy, of sanctions, or whatever, might take a few days to work out. However, it would be a clear statement that we are not going to support Iran while they develop nuclear weapons.
Yeah it’s a huge mistake, if you hate the U.S. and want to see it get nuked. WTF!
Part of the Syria endgame.
Mattis must now resign. We have got to get these deep state army bureaucrats out of our White House, We need Newt and we need Bannon, I actually see Perry and mattis as enemy spies.
As for the original sanctions, only by the US as the others who also signed onto this piece of crap, enabled by Sen. Corker, are signalling they are not going to reinstate the sanctions which were from a UN resolution.
The reality is that we are headed for a confrontation in the Straights as they will test our resolve. Then they will launch at Israel to punish us for embarrassing them on their front porch. The assets are there to counter that so in a very short time frame, they will blow their wad and the Persians will regain their homeland from the Arab invaders. King Cyrus is still revered by the Persian persuasions.
I spent 18 months based in Tehran with the STRATCOM Facility. Being an Army Brat all my life until I went in, I have always been fascinated with and knew to respect our host nations cultures. Not that I agreed with any particular one but I was knowledgeable enough to navigate the populace as I could show them that I at least understood their traditions and at least showed the respect due to my hosts.

Well he’s right it’s not...
Good move but do Boeing and Airbus still get to sell their planes (over 100) to Iran.
The now retiring Senator Bob Corker of Tennessee was the Republican enabler of the Iran Deal with his Corker Amendment to raise the bar to 2/3 of the Senate for the deal to be rejected.
This allowed a lot of politicians in the back pocket of those large companies and a lot of politicians in general to look good and vote NO while the deal went through and Boeing and Airbus got to sell their planes to Iran.
That pesky Treaty Clause.
