Good, those were rounds that didn’t get aimed at people.
Stupid target list.
4th floor also. Not reported.......yet
Likely just spill fuel if the tanks were full, but could explode if there were more fumes than fuel. Liquid fuel is not that flammable. Fuel air mix is though.
Absolutely right Dirt !
Yes, explains the two-window perch, and had the tanks exploded, would have essentially cut off escape for the folks fleeing the sniper fire. This is diabolically beyond pure evil. Psychopath terrorist.
OK. Good to know. Obviously he didn’t know that.
So what was the anfo bomb for? Just park by the venue?
Do we know where his car was parked?
The video of two shooters has been deleted from youtube

7 really close shots at 0:04
echo around 0:07
far away shots at 0:46, different pattern (two shots, pause, more shots)
more far away shots at 0:51
very close shots at 1:07
Sorry for my duplicate post. I did a search for aviation fuel and did not find this.
To believe the “firecrackers” assertion one must believe that one of the plotter gang was willing to be in the field of fire setting off firecrackers when automatic weapons were about to be fired on the crowd where he stood (unless somehow he was tricked into setting off fireworks in a concert crowd with no knowledge of what was really about to unfold).
I don’t find this account very compelling even if the guy turns out to be actually present at the concert, and we really don’t know that at all yet. The writer may be a conspiracy fantasist and must be thoroughly checked out. Maybe wasn’t even there, who knows at this point. Certainly I hope his claims are fully investigated, but I am not ready to believe any of that just yet.
Wow.
Closest thing I got to that was being around when an explosion blew a big flaming piece of wood in the air and it landed on top of a grain elevator. Thankfully the FD was able to pour water on it so it didn’t blow. Some tense moments though, as I lived about half a block away.
Thanks for the map graphic. They said his vehicle was parked outside the hotel, and was full of tannerite and ammonium nitrate. Does anyone know exactly where his car was parked in conjunction to these fuel tanks?
It was parked at another hotel.
My theory is the fellow Antifa folks got cold feet and didn’t get the vehicle to the right spot.
He waited until the LAST performer. Bigger crowd was there earlier that night. He waited until 10:08 to start shooting. By then he’d given up on the accomplice or accomplices.
At least that’s my theory...
And he was first !
I believe the first 100 rounds were aimed at the fuel tank. It didn’t blow up. So then he started shooting the crowd.
Interesting new information regarding these tanks. I did notice one thing odd in one of the first videos to emerge. There is a video of a cab driver who hears the gun shots as he’s waiting in the Mandalay Bay parking lot. If you go to that video, you will hear two distinctly different bursts of gunfire only seconds apart. One is MUCH closer to the cab driver, as the sound is much louder. The next burst is noticeably farther away. I suppose he could have switched guns, or possibly the acoustics is playing tricks, but it is peculiar.

Garage, I think.
Dang...still getting little blue box. Got a link?
You are correct. Even with an incendiary shell the best he could have done is punch a hole in the tank and ignite the fuel that ran out. It is not like the movies.
Even if the tanks were mostly empty they would not have went bang. The vapor pressure of the fuel in the tanks would have made it a non explosive mixture. That is the reason cars do not "blow up" when wrecked. They do burn do to fuel leaking from the tanks but they do not explode.
I know someone who was gunned down at that festival and died. His friend said he thought a load of firecrackers was thrown into the crowd.
Could all have been just confusion, but who knows...
