It is quite the pampered lifestyle these guys live. Girls, grades...they have everything they want, as long as they can perform on the field.

Will Rodgers was asked back in the 20s if it paid to go to college

His answer

"If you are a good broken field runner"

Oh, dear. The lemming flow is the *other* way.
The outrage lamp is still lit, but I hope
we are past the curve’s peak, even though
it took a massive tragedy to drive it
from the headlines. It could come back
to life. Caution is advised.

Re: “A free college education has no monetary value to NCAA players who have no interest in it and/or are incapable of really putting it to any use.”

I disagree, Alberta.

In January 2008, just as the Great Recession began, 25% of Black-American college graduates were employed by a government agency or by a government contractor.

Add in corporate Human Resource jobs and Diversity Specialist jobs and Racial Quota jobs, and a Bachelors degree can mean a secure, moderately stressful, middle class income for life.

Those jobs are almost all going to be filled with black women anyway. I’m sure the odds of finding a former college football player in any of those positions are very small.

If NCAA football dissolves, then major cash flaws into the universities will end. This will force downsizing at the larger NCAA schools, which will result in terminations of professors and possible pay cuts, too.

Liberal indoctrinators will become more strident as the consequences of their activism runs full-circle and costs them their lifestyles and livelihoods.

So it's a win-win then! LOL!

I’m pretty sure no major college football revenue goes into the general college budget. It’s kept in the athletic department.

I can’t argue that...back then, their parents would say something like “Study hard and you’ll beat whitey at his own game”. Now it’s more like “Screw it, no chance, no use playing by the rules”.
