The media is missing the Republican takeover in New England

On Sept. 19, Politico congressional reporter Burgess Everett tweeted that he suddenly “[Remembers Vermont has a Republican governor].” His tweet prompted Seung Min Kim, a fellow Politico reporter who covers the US Senate, to reply that she “[Learns Vermont has a Republican governor].” That, in turn, instigated a response by Wall Street Journal congressional reporter Byron Tau: “[Googles the name of Vermont’s Republican governor].”

To which Phil Scott, Vermont’s Republican governor, responded that he “[Is Vermont’s Republican governor].”

The moment was comical but also insightful, underscoring just how little Washington’s political class knows about who holds the executive power in the Northeast.

Here’s the surprising truth: It’s not the Democrats.

Charlie Baker is worthless. Still, the trend is good!

Second your thought on Charlie Baker. He talks nice but acts left.

The “takeover” has a long way to go in MA before it becomes obvious to me.

Massachusetts Republicans would be called wild eyed liberals in Mississippi.

The one advantage to having Rino Pubs in executive spots in blue states is that it makes the Dem bench even smaller.

Its bizarre - there are republicans everywhere, but they still act like Democrats.

Charlie Baker is a tremendous disappointment. Still better than Devil Patrick, though.

Charlie Baker is going to lose next year....the democrats are going to run the African American mayor of the wealthy suburb of Newton Setti Warren. He’s young, handsome and a former naval intelligence officer. Baker does not stand a chance against him. Massachusetts residents put the idiot Patrick in for 2 terms....it will be the same thing with this guy.

two words — Jim Jeffords (technically, four words, “the late Jim Jeffords”). I don’t think the Demwits have much to worry about.

“Massachusetts Republicans would be called wild eyed liberals in Mississippi.”

From New Jersey all the way up to Maine.

I’m from there. I can’t believe the crap that I hear “Republicans” in the NE say. Can’t believe it.

Setti is also a Certified Nutbag .
Which is why he will definitely win in Asssholechusetts.
The only people still living here are certifiably deranged Moonbats.

But Maine has the most conservative governor in the form of Paul LePage.

Collins is worthless.

Seven years after the Republicans won the House and three years after they gained the US Senate majority, the media/entertainment complex still fails to accept or understand that the majority of this country is center-right. Until these institutions grasp this fact, they will continue to see their viewership drop and their trust erode.

It's also why Hollywood movies are so boring... Hollywood produces movies for the ever diminishing blue state white liberal elites.

Paul LePage, twice elected Gov. of Maine is the only one who is worth more than a bucket of warm spit.

He’s tough as nails, he’s fearless, and he really does come from the other side of the tracks. He left a poverty stricken, alcoholic, broken home when he was a teen to make his way in the world.

Democrats hate him with virulent passion. He tells them exactly where they can go. He would make an excellent president. God has already blessed Paul LePage handsomely. May god continue to bless him and bless him in future political office, God willing.

While I was in Vermont camping I met a guy from Boston who was a Republican. He hated Clinton and “all them d@mn Kennedy’s.” I asked him how he he felt about Massachusetts always voting democrats in and he told me, “We are just slightly out-numbered, all over.”

Same thing for NE so-called Christians!

They disavow the divinity of Christ, and those are just the pastors!

Lesbian Methodist Bishop claims Jesus was a "bigot" until his "later years!"

That's a pretty strange way to refer to "later years" for a man who died at 33, but then she is a liberal lesbian "Bishop."
