I noted on another thread, that in Britain, they did not allow soccer matches to be played on Sunday until 1974. I wonder how the NFL got away with having their games on Sunday back in the day without a lot of people complaining about playing on the Sabbath. Of course, it really wasn’t until the 1970s that the NFL became all that popular.

They forgot the column for ‘Hand over Heart’ - oh what, my mistake, who is interested in that data? Certainly not the fans (extreme sarcasm)......and that SAYS IT ALL about the collective perspectives of ESPN (chart creator), NFL, and the illiterate self serving players.

People don’t recognize that they ‘get’ what they ‘expect’. If one expects to be loved, they will never settle for someone that hates them or just likes them.

So if fans settle (and they will) for players merely standing during the anthem then that says a lot about fans. And to be fair, owners and fans alike have valued winning over character (thuggery, assaults, decadence) for years. Folks should ‘expect’ more......

Against NFL rules: right hand over heart with left holding helmet, facing the flag.

Locked arms akin to black power fist bumps - sullen, defiant, rude and disrespectful!

The pictures of the Bears showed them standing as normal for the anthem not locking arms.

Standing with bent elbows interlocked with other ungrateful, self-centered spoiled millionaires who play a game 16 or so times a year = “taking a knee”. Just because it does. For some reason. Arbitrary as all hell, but there you go.

Yep.

Be careful what you wish for, they say.

The NFL players and anyone associated with them really needs to look up the term “Useful Idiots”. Then maybe they wll just say no, the next time the radical left wants them to “join” their protests.

Not one clean team.

Alejandro Villanueva and Tom Brady are the worst of them all.

It’s a wishy washy way of kneeling.

The Carolina Panthers look good too. I bet the player who stayed in the locker room got the wet towel treatment later.

No. The Panther who remained in the locker room was Julius Peppers, who has been a selfish ***** ever since he entered the NFL.

The rest of the Panthers were too afraid of Jerry Richardson to try anything. Turns out their fear was unfounded:

Carolina Panthers players say that after Tuesday's meeting between the team's captains and owner Jerry Richardson they can join other NFL players in protest over the recent remarks of President Donald Trump without fear of backlash from the team owner.

The Panthers, whose QB is the overhyped-over-rated Cam Newton, will be lucky to break .500 this year.

I am surprised Cam Newton hasn’t been kneeling this whole time. Seems like the kind of a-hole thing that would be right up his alley.

Just like kneeling before the anthem instead of during it. It’s just a p*ssy version of kneeling.

I totally agree, locking arms is woosie way of dissing our flag and our national anthem. It’s the NFL thugs’ attempt to dis without facing the real world consequences.

These spoiled black NFL thugs and their whitey enablers need to man up. If they’re going to dis the flag and the anthem, they should be man enough to take a knee and face the consequences.

But these spoiled low IQ thugs want to have it both ways—dis the flag/anthem, but do it in a camouflaged way so the fans won’t boo or boycott them.

Sorry NFL thugs, nice try but we aren’t that stupid. We know exactly what you’re trying to do. You are still unpatriotic, selfish, and disgusting.

“That table is not helpful. The pictures of the Bears showed them standing as normal for the anthem not locking arms.”

I disagree! So what if the Bears are less offensive than the other teams? Are you still going to go watch them play against another group of Black A$$holes who totally disrespect our country. “When you raid the whore house, you take the piano player too.” In this case the Bears are just the whorehouse piano players, nothing more.
There needs to be NO EQUIVOCATION about bringing down the NFL They remind me of the GOP which also needs to be brought down and relegated to the ash heap of history.

Newton has the IQ of a tree stump but he managed to say that he thought Colin Kaepernick "made the ultimate sacrifice" by risking his career protesting racial injustice.

Newton dresses well, though. Like a Bourbon Street pimp.

I kind of regretted making that comment after I posted it. I don’t know anything about Cam Newton except what the media has told me, and they are well-proven liars. I have an acquaintance who swears that Cam Newton has done some really great things for the community off the field. I have to try to be more Christian, no matter how angry this kneeling issue makes me. He may be a giant a-hole but I should give him the benefit of the doubt until he proves it.
