Sophie Pointon, 22, invented the lie after a clash with the Muslim cabbie who refused to take a £10 note soaked in oil from a kebab she was holding for religious reasons.
Pointon, a criminology undergraduate at the time, told police the driver had molested her in the back of his cab. She dialled 999 and later continued the deception by signing a statement describing her “horrendous” ordeal after a drunken night out in Leeds. ...

You are acting like I wrote the headline - I simply posted it. Anyway, previously on the list we have had a whole series of stories where Muslim women pretended to have their veils ripped off, etc., - all fake. That rather takes away automatic pity.
One of the worst thing about fakers, is that they diminish the voices of real victims. So, everyone must be on the alert.
