Well ...
You didn’t.
Too little, too late.
Does anyone remember when after the towers fell people couldn’t show enough support, sing the anthem, fly the flag enough? I remember going to events where you could hear the voices of the crowd singing over the singer of the anthem. United we stand stickers on everything. How fickle.
>>Well ...

You took the exact words from me. I’ll only add that now he must quit the team if he wishes to undo the corporate mooning of America he participated in.
Athletes are mostly morons.
Congratulations, Terry Bradshaw is no longer the dumbest QB in Steeler history.
Actions have consequences.
They had a choice and they made it.
Now, suffer the consequences.
They will forever be known as the “Pittsburg Kneelers”.
Anti-American commie azzwipes that moan & groan while making millions/year here in the country they’re disrespecting. Screw you guys...you got it coming.
Meanwhile, 3 dead and 36 wounded in Chicago last weekend, and crickets from the NFL.
Alberta's Child: "I do, too. Bye."
-—If the NFL sees a few more weeks of declining viewership, something will change.-—
A few more weeks? Not a chance.
It will take years, literally, of declining viewership, attendance, paraphernalia purchases, and sales of companies who advertise on the games to have a meaningful impact.
This mentality is so well ingrained in their little minds it will take a long time before they get the message.
You know, I find it rediculous that I of all people can always stand for the national anthem as a common person, but plenty of “high class” people won’t just because someone got elected.

Hey, why not just stand for the anthem like everyone did for the past 50 years? That’s not controversial and it should be an easy decision!
Taking a knee is controversial and dividing and doesn’t even make sense because they are supposed to be protesting police brutality. The flag has nothing to do with police actions.
Ben: Define “social justice” and “true equality”. What would be different?
When your manhood was called for, you failed to answer. Excuses now make you look even weaker.
The saddest thing is that now Villanueva felt he needed to apologize to his teammates because he exposed their weakness. That is really a shame.
>>Keeping the players off the field seems like one way to take personal politics out of the game without taking action against individual players.<<
NO WAY WILL WE FALL FOR THAT. They have insulted the United States of America and can’t stand for the colors. Do you think we would say, “OK, just stay in the locker room?” Praise God that the Steeler fans saw through that b.s. and booed their own team when they exited the tunnel.
The only thing that is causing him to lose sleep is the future earnings that are evaporating.
Hell, I don’t care if they salute the flag or put hand on heart, just stand to be respectful of everyone else. Any of us would stand respectfully for a foreign team’s anthem like they did in the UK the other day, so why not pay the courtesy for our own anthem??
True equality exists before birth and after death. In between, well, there’s mostly Gammas, Deltas, and getting the most attention as squeaky wheels are prone to, are the Epsilons. What’s an Alpha to do?
