Authorities said one woman was killed and seven others were wounded after a 26-year-old African-American man wearing a ski mask opened fire at a Tennessee church Sunday.
The gunman, who officials said shot himself and was taken to a hospital, opened fire at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in Antioch, southeast of Nashville, just after 11 a.m. and fired “multiple rounds,” police said in a news conference. The Nashville Fire Department called the incident “a mass casualty situation.”
A church usher confronted the gunman at one point and was pistol-whipped, causing "significant injury around his head." He told police he then went to his own car, grabbed a pistol and headed back into the church. The gunman then shot himself.

His facebook page does say he speaks Arabic...for what that’s worth. But again...I never made any of the accusations you mentioned. I just stated facts that were obvious from his page.
A name like Emanuel Samson doesn’t sound Muslim. But it looks like he bought into the “black victim” mentality even though he was born in Sudan.
I couldn’t disagree. What I do find interesting is what he posted on his page just a few minutes before he started trying to kill church goers....he said...

I did not accuse you or anyone of making any accusations; I just noted that his is a rather innocuous BF page that doesn’t contain many of the obvious indications of a rabid Islamist who’s out to kill white Christians.

I didn’t see any indication of his either being into Islam or hating white people,” one could presume you are accusing others of making unsubstantiated claims since you seem to be refuting said claims. However, no such claims were made. But whatever.

I never said he was a devout christian. Someone else claimed that in response to my post. I would argue against such since he posted just minutes before the shootings....

No Christian I know would state that is was possible...OK...or that one should “become the creator instead of what’s created.” Not that it is even possible.
Sudan is 97% Muslim so odds are high he is muslim

Emmanuel is a name found among the Christian population there, so I’d say he’s just crazy.

As yukong said, Sudan, that is North Sudan, is 97% Muslim. 1.5% is Christian and the other 1.5% is Pagan.
South Sudan is estimated to be 60% Christian. One of the reasons for the split and continued tensions.
