The product of a military family
What is that suppose to mean?
Well if we can gage the NBA by the Warriors, they’re in the same “ballpark” as the other two entities. Frankly, with all that he’s promised to accomplish and the degree of negative pressure on him from all quarters, I’d say “kicking” the Warrior’s visit was a no brainer. Plus he won’t have to fumigate the Oval Office after they leave.
That guy standing behind looks like a puss!
The player next to him looks embarrassed for him.
Folks, get off the Major League Baseball drug! It’s killing you.
Agreed
The resulting loss of fans and viewers is sure to follow.
Very Sad for Baseball!
Where do you think this comes from right after an election?
If the team owners do not quickly implement an employee code of conduct to stop this crap -- and it is, in all of its forms, "crap", they will suffer the same fate as the NFL.
Does this dweeb play much?
It seems to me that baseball presents a unique opportunity:
Not attending games (eventually) hurts other players who don’t protest during the Anthem, the people selling beer and dogs, and so on. Not viewing hurts a somewhat different but overlapping group, some of whom are also just trying to make a living.
But, in baseball, Anthem protesters & supporters can be booed INDIVIDUALLY when they come up to bat. If that doesn’t get the point across, loud and specific crowd chants anytime during the game are appropriate.
FIRE MAXWELL!! FIRE MAXWELL!! (etc.)
Or sing the National Anthem if the player is fielding, pitching, etc. (Will he or she kneel then, too?)
The last two ideas work in other sports, too.
