They won’t do it because thorium is a fertile isotope but needs a breeder cycle to turn it into a fissile form (233U), then you’re into uranium again. They hate that, for some stupid reason. But we could have tens of thousands of year’s worth of emissions-free energy with a U-Pu-Th breeder cycle. Make some of those actinide burners and you get rid of the waste as well.

"They are myopically attached to nursing their water bottles." What idiots - from where do they think their PLASTIC water bottles come? STUPID!

With Vlad’s graphic, it is easy to see why there are so many earthquakes in Oklahoma.
Now, Bill Nye needs to provide a statistical analysis.

Add in the number of fuel tankers sunk on their way to England.
The planet was designed to be self cleaning. It works if people just use a little common sense.

Dont want pipelines or oil drilling? DON'T DRIVE. Brings up an excellent point: lefties want to condense everyone into cities, and eliminate the automobile. Well, guess what! Before the automobile, most Americans were farmers. Not city folk.

Pipelines are far more efficient and safer than any other form of transportation.
For now. An organized, Soros-funded, sustained campaign to blow holes in exposed pipelines, thereby discharging whatever the pipeline carries into the ground and down into the water supply, will eventually succeed in turning people off pipelines altogether.

To: sparklite2
That can be avoided by blowing holes in anyone sabotaging the pipelines.

Not to worry. I just heard Mercedes is opening an electric car facility in Tennessee(?)
Close, but the next state down - Alabama
It will be built next to their present plant near Tuscaloosa.

Well I was close. Guess since I won’t be in the market for a car or a job, I didn’t pay close enough attention. ;-)

Economists keep wasting time and effort trying to forecast macroeconomic performance. There’s always another variable, and it’s usually significant.

Our outstanding pipelines system is the primary factor in the low cost of fuel in the US. Which of course is why they’re attacking them.
