The Resistance wants a showdown with Donald Trump, and looks like it will get its wish soon.
Our Democrats would make California a “sanctuary state,” setting up a confrontation with the federal government over fundamental questions of who gets to enter the country, who gets to stay and how the rules will be enforced.
Meantime, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on Wednesday announced the state is suing the Trump administration yet again. This time, California wants to block the president’s proposed border wall on the grounds that it would be bad for the environment. Since when does the environment trump national security?
Mind you, the Obama administration played havoc with separation of powers for eight years, but California’s Democrats had nothing but praise for such extra-constitutional innovations as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Back then, the executive branch called it “prosecutorial discretion.” But Article I of the Constitution is pretty clear about who gets to set the rules about “naturalization,” and it isn’t the president.
Contrary to what Gov. Brown says, it is not “xenophobia” to insist that immigrants follow the rules. Nor is it enough to fall back on the trope that illegal immigrants are “doing the jobs Americans won’t do.” The word for that is exploitation.
This is basic civics. We are a nation not just of laws but of borders. We welcome all comers, as long as they adhere to our laws, assimilate to our customs and contribute to our society. California’s elected Democrats advocate lawlessness, yet demand scrupulous adherence to the Constitution when it suits them and their interests. The rule of law demands the Resistance lose.

Even better... cut them loose and then invade them and take it back over!
The Trump Secure Borders Doctrine: Build the wall, enforce the law, deport them all. End sanctuary cities, end DACA, end anchor babies. Slap a moratorium on Islamic immigration until we can figure out what the hell’s going on. MAGA!!
No need to cut us loose or invade. Just prosecute and jail the law breakers from the governor. ag, mayors and city council members, college presidents, school boards, etc, on down. Conspiracy to defy the federal government and willingly violate federal law is a crime as is harboring or giving aid and comfort to criminals and fugitives, ie, illegal aliens.

Conclusion: His loyalty is first, last and always Mexico and Mexicans, and he’s been pretty clear on that for the last 35 years or more.
Anthony Rendon: Don’t know if he was MEChA, but that’s alright. He’s always been first, last and always Mexico in his outlook. Currently Speaker of the Assembly of the State of California.
Conclusion: NOT an American. A citizen of Mexico through and through, hostile to any American interest.
So there’s really no point in being perplexed about the actions of the “government” in California. The people that these fools put in power are simply Mexicans, and they want this state to be a vassal state of Mexico.
It will give them power and wealth beyond belief, the kind of power and wealth that no Mexican has ever been able to create and keep.
And it’s simple: all they gotta do is get enough Mexicans here to steal it. Which is considered completely OK in Mexico. Too weak to keep it? They plan to take it.
And so they are. And any attempt to stop them will be met with the same twisted, nonsense “logic” about how heads they win, tails they win.
Until someone with the stones to stop them emerges.

That’s what I’m thinking. Cut off all federal funding. If they want to secede, let’em. Give all illegls that want to relocate to California a one way bus ticket there.
They have their own interpretation of the 10th amendment.
When things get bad (and they will) even the illegals will vote for the GOP to keep their jobs from going to central Americans. Brown should be charged with treason—arrested and the state constitution suspended becoming a Territory until a new government could be reorganized. Trump could appoint Duncan Hunter as territorial Governor until free election (where only citizens can vote) can be held.
Lunacy? Or a felony?
