Administration Seeks to Avoid Withdrawal From Paris Climate Accord, Climate Officials Say

White House spokeswoman says ‘no change’ in U.S. position on deal

In announcing the decision to withdraw the U.S. from the 195-nation agreement at the White House in June, Mr. Trump said he was ready to “begin negotiations to re-enter either the Paris accord or an—really entirely new transaction—on terms that are fair to the U.S., its businesses, its workers, its people, its taxpayers.”

“So we’re getting out, but we will start to negotiate, and we will see if we can make a deal that’s fair,” he added. “And if we can, that’s great. And if we can’t, that’s fine.”

The U.S. has the world’s second highest level of greenhouse-gas emissions, which drive global warming, behind China. Washington’s exit from the Paris deal would undermine its viability and could trigger other exits, unraveling an agreement that took decades to negotiate.

Just read this in the American Thinksr. Perfect.

Indoctrination is truly a dangerous thing. With indoctrination we get a government that:

Pushes and subsidizes the flammable pollutant lithium for batteries.
Used to push mercury-laced light bulbs.
Continues to push and require diverting food to fuel. Grain based ethanol doe not help the environment, is not efficient and raises the cost of food, which is especially harmful to the poor and middle class throughout the World.
Requires the production of smaller, lighter more dangerous cars to meet fictional targets for gas mileage. The lighter cars of course require a lot of plastic which comes from fossil fuels.
While pushing pollutants like lithium and mercury, the government seeks to regulate and control the clear, innocuous, non-pollutant CO2 which makes plants thrive and allows the people to be fed.
There is a lot of pretending going on in Washington DC and around the World. They pretend the science is settled and then they pretend that if individuals and businesses hand the government trillions of dollars they can control temperatures, sea levels and storms forever..

It’s a rigged poker game- and we were to be the sucker.
But, if they want to instead make someone else the sucker and we can come out ahead...

That’s diplomacy!

Hmm. I'd like to see the author of this article explain exactly HOW carbon dioxide presumably has this effect of making the atmosphere warmer than can be accounted for by solar radiation. What is the physical mechanism, and how is it significantly different from the behavior of other atmospheric gases?

We are supposed to accept the global warming hypothesis as "settled science," but--so far--I've yet to see a plausible, scientifically tested, mechanism for this behavior of this one gas. If there is an actual physical basis for this, it should be pretty widely known, shouldn't it?

How many times is the crap going to be posted?

The WH has already denied it. Everything that
Trump and his EPA has done proves they aren’t interested in the Oaris accords
