NFL can try blowing smoke up our collective ole wazoo’s all they care to.
Unrespectful, ungrateful, over paid, jive ass punks, 85 percent are black fellas, most of whom would either fail employment drug tests or are too stupid to flip burgers at Mickey D’s.
I’ll watch College Ball where they really do try on every play.
Hey NFL, take your big ESPN TV contract and shove it along with your employees.

My second year of boycotting also.
Surprisingly, I miss it very very little.

“getting”?
NCAA is as bad as FIFA.
And most of FIFA board is either in prison, or indicted.

Recently there was a rare rain delay for a SF Giant home game.

They went to the local yakking jocks and non jocks to talk for awhile.

They got into the lack of attendance at the Former Niner’s home games.

They never mentioned the boycott.

They said the tickets might be too expensive and the east side of the field gets too hot when the sun is shining as the main reason.

My wife and I looked at them and shook our heads.

I put them on mute for a while and eventually went to another channel.

Trust me, there are plenty of other things to do on Sunday in San Diego than watch those thugs in the National Felons League.

Ditto for LA, apparently.

there's nothing to get excited about in the nfl....too few heroes...

we have Brady....but not much else...no good guys to root for....

qb's should understand that being the face of their teams, they need to be of high character and patriotism...mostly, a lot of them just seem "high"...

well I do like Eli Manning...

Sports has always been about personalities. People just don’t root for the laundry anymore.

That explains why other sports that were once hugely popular are no longer nearly as popular.

How many modern-day baseball players can the average person name? Now teams are largely indistinguishable from each other, most rosters are full of players from the Dominican Republic, who can barely speak English.

its was not kapernick...it was the nfl brass and coaches letting this going on without saying how much the nfl appreciates this country and all the guys who died defending it and our way of life....

its on the brass....they could have rebutted every single kapernick trick forcibly...

When someone gets $135 million over five years to throw interceptions does the NFL need me to watch them? Can’t afford to take the family to the stadium with large ticket prices, $10 Cokes and $12 hot dogs.

Mind you, if they have another mediocre Thursday night game, that will really hammer NFL overall ratings.

They seem to schedule games on Thursday out of pity for the viewers of the teams involved. They are seldom match-ups between premier teams and are of little interest to the rest of the nation. That’s low ratings built right in.

I saw highlights of a Texas A & M game a couple of weeks ago where they lost a 35 pt 4th qtr. lead.

If they did something good (TD, interception ect) someone would give them a decorated pimp stick and they got to walk around like they were pimps. This was at Texas A & M, a conservative school.

I don’t know if that speaks about this generation, or just football. But that isn’t right.

Make it so there are MORE touchbacks by putting it on the 25 instead of the 20-yard line as before, incentivizing the returner to down it in the shallow end zone rather than risk a return.

This was instituted in response to the concussion brouhaha. The plan was to have fewer head crashes from two guys hitting each other at full speed. Of course, Belichick turned around and capitalized on it be deliberately pooch kicking to land just inbounds, forcing a runback.

To go to Cowboys' Stadium, parking can easily cost over $100.

I watched the whole game. The comeback was astonishing.

I started watching football as kid in the 60's. I did not live in a town/state that had a pro team, so I had several favorites. Johnny Unitas was probably my first football hero, so I followed the Colts a lot. I also liked the Rams with Roman Gabriel, Don Meredith and the Cowboys, Jim Brown and later Leroy Kelly with the Browns. And then there were the Green Bay Packers whom I hated. Nowadays, too many teams, not enough talent. ZZzzzzz.

People are tiring of the offensive (pardon the pun) spectacle that the NFL has become. Who wants to waste a precious Sunday afternoon watching these pampered prima donnas and their outrageous display of disrespect and arrogance? I’ve got better things to do with my time.
