They are CRIMINAL for being here period end of story. I don’t understand these qualifying conditions to babystep this garbage and put Trumps comment in a better light.
The argument being posed are liberal talking points
What is Mr. Trump/Congress going to do in a year or so when another 5,000-10,000 minors have crossed the border illegally? Throw them out? After all they are here “thru no fault of their own”. Is DACA ongoing forever for all new “arrivals”? The “wall” is awhile off, and even with one hundreds if not thousands of minors will make it in over the years.
In any case Mr. Trump is fully behind the current 800,000 to 1 million staying and DACA being “codified”...not quite the “illegal executive order” that I heard during his campaign.
Exactly. As mentioned on the radio today, the optics of grabbing these people from their homes, jobs and schools would be bad, but let’s get rid of the criminals.
Why do so many act as if being Mexican and living in Mexico is a punishment? Is everyone who is not American being punished by not being here? If that logic holds, we must bring in everyone to America, whether they want to or not, to save them from punishment.
Well, you keep praying for wisdom for Trump. Hopefully your prayers will be answered.
That is what should happen.
The ugly truth is, many of these Dreamers do not want to become Americans. They want to get the freebies and vote Rat and march in the streets calling America racist.
Nope, you are not the only one. Over the last 20 or so years I have seen entire towns in my county turn into gang-infested war zones filled with people from other countries who want to kill me just because I am an American. And that crap is happening all over America. If this government under Trump does not put a stop to it, all if it, including the DACAs, they had better expect that Donald Trump in the White House will look tame to them compared what is coming.
That will mean 1/3 of them gone. If you vet them thoroughly it would mean another 1/3 or so gone. Letting 250K or so stay is not too bad if they button down the border tight. I still don’t like it but it would be much better than 800K.
In all fairness there are two guilty parties responsible for this debacle.
Let’s say you go to work and leave your door open. You come back from work and you find someone in your house sitting at the table eating. You kick him out and he leaves.
The next day you again leave the door open and more people walk through the door and help themselves to your stuff.
And you keep doing this everyday - leaving the door open and finding people occupying your place.
Whose fault is it?
Personally I would put more of the blame on the owner than the guests. When someone willfully refuses to protect what is his, he has no right to complain when someone takes it.
We have been willfully negligent in not locking the door to our nation. We’ve actually been much worse than that, not only did we leave the door open, we had a welcome sign out with directions to where strangers can find a hot meal, a warm bed and pocket change.
We deserve a lot of the blame for the illegals that are here. We’ve had welcome wagons out for them, we can hardly blame them for coming and making themselves at home.
So because we share a lot, if not the majority of the blame, I would be in favor of leniency for the people with a good record that WE allowed to come here, deport the bad ones, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY BUILD THE DAMN WALL AND FROM NOW ON ENFORCE THE LAWS.
I heard there’s only 900 ‘DACA’ in the military. Whoop-de-doo. Keep a few hundred thousand because of 900? That’s liberal logic right there.
Invaders...illegal...aliens...criminals . Kick all of them OUT!
“Bottom line is that these kids didnt break the law. Their parents did. Giving them work permits makes sense. But no path to citizenship.”
Personally, I’d give them a path, 10 years at least. 7 for vets or serving. Give them something concrete to work for. Not some unlimited limbo that cost taxpayers (insert current amount). It was a deferred program that was set by idiots who didn’t really want to tackle the problem which left a lot of these kids with no real status with no fault of their own.
Set conditions/work permits as it should be for any type of immigration that is real and tangible, deport those that don’t make the cut.
We’ve been screwed since 1986 and you can thank Ronald Reagan for amnesty!
If he doesn’t have the balls, if they are locked up in the lockbox I will do it for him. GTHO, and I mean now. You have no citizenship status, you are not here legally. You have 30 days to leave or you will be placed on a bus/plane, or boat and deported. No more amnesty, no more chain immigration, no more birthright citizenship. If you are not born in the US by at least one Citizen as a parent, you are not a citizen and must return to your home country.
No path, and WTH are they doing in the military? Are we that hard up that we need foreign mercenaries to fight for us?
If you read the article you posted ... OK, we’re supposed to believe Schumer and Pelosi, although the WH denied their claim. And the facts are that he ended DACA as of September 5th and says he won’t tie border security to DACA.
And he is, as usual launching twitter trial balloons, but let’s all assume the worst and retire for good cry before lights out.
Back to the emotional drama and rants from FR’s stout hearted manlets ... disgusting.
True. We HAVE to get the criminals out, like the gangs, but there is absolutely no point without the wall. They would be back here the next day.
The President has something up his sleeve, you watch.
Talk to your congress critter.
I heard that 900 out of 800,000 are vets. So that leaves 799,100 who should not be given amnesty.
