Not only did he leave poor Mary Jo to die a horrible death when she could have been saved, Ted was instrumental in working to pass the 1965 Immigration Act and was a huge, early supporter of Barack Obama, giving Obama credibility and access to Democrat donors.
The latter two events have negatively impacted this country in ways which we may never recover. May Ted burn in hell.

Here I always thought it was real. I thought I remembered VW getting some pushback on it.

Now that Ted Kennedy is beyond any earthly judgment, the stories may be told, but the whole truth may never be known. Not that Teddy would have ever made a full accounting before men, but he had to make one before his Maker, and while we do not have the transcripts, we can fill in a lot of blanks.
Fat, drunk and stupid, like Bluto from Animal House, is no way to go through life.

Ted (Swimmer) Kennedy’s undeserved Arlington grave is notable both for the signs pointing to its location and for the Scotch fumes that continue to rise from it to this day.
My wife and I are veterans. We witnessed the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Kennedy’s remains do not belong in such a sacred place with those who were killed in combat.

I read a great book on Chappaquiddick. Kennedy complained that Mary Jo was punching him. Reason is he was standing on her as he got himself out of danger. And he never did think about extending his hand to help her as he was exiting the car.
When he died I felt NOTHING.

Teddy is right now, at this very moment, dog paddling in the 9th CIRCLE OF HELL.

In the 1980s Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd were famous for their “waitress sandwiches “ at a particular restaurant at M Street and Wisconsin avenue

There is a song on Youtube called “The Ballad of Mary Jo Who ?” I don’t know how to link it directly, but should be able to find it by name.
Anyone out there tell me how to link stuff, will greatly appreciate it, not too proud to ask for help.

You are absolutely correct, it is a disgrace that Ted is buried at Arlington.
The Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns is a profound and moving event and even being from California, I have been fortunate to have witnessed it a couple of times. God bless you and your wife and I thank both of you for your service to our great country. Take care.
