In Maryland a close relative is in a custody case. The lawyer’s basis for his losing custody is that he is a racist. He is white with a bi racial child. There is basis for ranking racism in Maryland. If you are white it is automatic th at you are a racist. If you deny racism, you are a racist. Unless you apologize for being white youv are guilty. He is in trouble if this flies with the judge. They spent most of the deposition on this even asking why he took his child to Missouri to see his family knowing Black Lives Matters published a warning on Missouri. Unbelievable- but this is real and needs to be stopped. Not sure how. Maryland is pure anarchy.

At one time Lawndale was an affluent, 99% white neighborhood.
50’s & 60’s south side & southern blacks moved in, whites left and blacks became the majority.
Median family income is now about 25k.

and before you go off on a rant, i am white and i lived in a housing projects in chicago - diverse, clean, caring neighborhood - affordable ( rent based on salary ) housing, until a boat load of blacks moved up from Cabrini Green. I understand that they were trying to get away from the crime there, but they brought a bunch of it with them
We couldn’t fight the good fight no more and we left.
The place turned into a crime ridden arm pit which is now closed down and the property being fought over for development.
Liberals could own twice the house for half the cost if they lived in the hood. They could send their children to ghetto public schools without spending a dime.

“Racist” has become a meaningless term that applies to me based on prejudice against my race, and the term is used only by racists. The word has lost its power, which is a shame considering how important a concept “racism” was back before the word became meaningless.

I lived in Maryland for a few years (near Andrews AFB) and had fond memories, but...as an adult, going down to be with the DC Chapter of Free Republic, and being in the state, I saw it quite differently.
I know it is hard to imagine, but it felt even more militantly liberal than Massachusetts. Especially after I got that speeding ticket issued by a camera.

It isn't that, it's that if you're a conservative you're accused of being a racist. It forces you on the defensive, makes you deny it and deflects whatever valid points you're trying to make. It's a particularly brainless, hence popular, rhetorical trick.
