I ditto your prayer! It’s a great one! Some people suffer so much as it is already, and then to place this storm upon them keeps me awake as much as possible and in prayer for them. Jesus, please help us!

Oh Father God, One Who hangs the stars, sets boundaries for the seas, and sculpts the mountains. Heavenly Father, Creator of all heaven and earth, Your majesty is beyond our comprehension, yet You attend to every detail of our lives, even numbering the hairs on our heads.
Father God, we praise You. May we serve You forever.
Father God, we lift up all those in Texas and Louisiana who are recovering from hurricane Harvey. Lord, we lift up those on the east coast who are threatened by hurricane Irma. Father God, we lift up the northwestern states consumed by forest fires.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Father God, we ask that this administration be given opportunity to lead our nation back into Your fold. We ask that we return to the rule of law, be governed by Your divine precepts, and that we would once more be that light on a hill.
As a nation, may we repent and seek Your face. As individuals, give us opportunity to minister to those who do not know You. Give us wisdom and love to break through their hardened hearts.
We ask these things in Jesus’ name

We have a friend whose niece is stuck on Longboat Ky.
Can’t get off because of traffic and no gas available.
They are worried sick about her.
I haven’t stopped praying since Harvey. More than enough to go around.

I am in south Florida, but sent my family to central Florida... when the forecast said it would hit us near Miami.
Now the forecast is heading towards my family. They are stuck. PLEASE pray for their safety. Please.
I have family who fled to central Florida, leaving me (I am unable to leave because of my job) because the storm was headed to south Florida.
We have an elderly parent with dementia in our care.
Now the storm is headed for them, not south Florida. To add insult to injury, a parent from the other side of the family has a new retirement home bought but not moved into yet on the west coast. The track, if true, will destroy the home.
I pray for God’s hand to shred this hurricane or to steer it away.
