If it’s fall in Mississippi, it’s football season. That means it’s time to tailgate: an opportunity to grill food, drink beer and spend time with friends before the big game. And apparently an opportunity to increase racial tensions too, according to a University of Mississippi student.
In an op-ed published in The Daily Mississippian, Ole Miss senior Francisco Hernandez bemoans that tailgates at his university are perpetuating racial oppression because of the presence of the Mississippi state flag.

If these idiots keep pushing these moronic issues to the degree that they have been doing, the vast majority of Americans who are sick and tired of this PC bullcrap will blow up in their faces.

College administrators have no business listening to students’ opinions and acting on them. The students are there for (presumably) four years. They pass through and others take their places. They have no ownership position. They have no right to remake the place in their own image. The institution is the culmination of the work of generations of those past and for the generations of those to come. Not the current crop of whiny revolutionary brats who currently “occupy” the campus.
These children simply have learned to mouth the words they hear adults in society saying.
I was reading the Cornell student newspaper last week, and saw an editorial from a young self-identified Jewish woman, who belonged to a sorority, claimed her best friends were in the sorority — but then went on to declare all sororities should be shut - because there were too many white girls in them and of course, they “promoted rape culture.”
No reasoning needed, even if completely hypocritical - just sprinkle with lots of magic leftist slogans
I’m sure he wouldn’t protest if there were ISIS, Mexican or Gay flags being flown - those are A-OK.
This guy obviously has lots and lots of time for “protesting” during his college days- guess he doesn’t have to study like we did....
