Announce a plan to give MFN status to India.

Then make hasty plans to do massive trade with India as a replacement for China.

Turn the massive container ships away.....the $hit will suddenly get real.

“Geng expressed frustration at Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s comment that Beijing had a responsibility to influence North Korea due to its status as the North’s main trading partner.”

It’s good that Australia is speaking up also.

“Such an approach would be drastic if applied to China, from which the United States imports goods worth about $40 billion a month.”

All the more reason to pressure China.

China is using their North Korean proxy to bluster and bully for the local area and America.

The Chinese know what game they are playing. And they know they and their boy are setting the tone.

They’re kinda pretty much the same as the MSM and the Democrats.

We’re in a near-war situation. Democrats and the MSM are committing treason with their nonsense. /rant

Turning up the heat on China is the right thing to do. Doing so reminds the Chinese they have a LOT TO LOSE if they don’t use their influence to curb North Korea’s mad man leader.

China is our enemy and unless more of the American people realize that we won't be able to do what's necessary to stop them. We need to stop compromising with China on trade issues for helping us with problems they are intentionally creating.

I think this is an issue that Steve Bannon understands better than most. China has total control of NK and uses it as a distraction from the real issue, and we react exactly how they want every time.

"What is definitely unacceptable to us is that on the one hand we work so hard to peacefully resolve this issue and on the other hand our interests are subject to sanctions and jeopardized," Geng said at a regular news briefing. "This is unfair."

It may be my perverse sense of humor or my inability/unwillingness to stomach butt-hurted-ness and BS (as I've grown older), but I would have laughed my b*lls off, if I had been in the same room when he said this, with what I presume, was a straight face.

Momma never said I'd grow up to be a diplomat . . .

1994 Bill Clinton gave North Koreans $4 Billion to dismantle their nuclear program.

Time to show dying and starving baby pictures from N.Korea (along with buckets of drowned girls from China) and the hanging human limbs (arms and legs) in North Korea Meat Stalls....

Cut off ALL trade with China. They’d be crushed with the unemployment, and possibly revolution.

If we can’t produce at home all of what all we get from them, we can find another source of cheap labor somewhere else in the third world. Hopefully where some quality control exists.

There’d be economic pain for us in the short-term, but it wouldn’t last.

Chortle. The exact opposite is true, in fact.

Work Harder. China has been standing in the way of economic sanctions that really have teeth.

We should start fighting back in the trade war with China we are in now regardless of the DPRK issues. They are separate issue. Bannon was correct in that assessment.

Excuse me, the NK’s nuclear threat over the US is even MORE unacceptable.

They are lucky they are dealing with us and it’s only a trade threat and not you guys where you’d be slaughtering them without mercy.
