He needs to defund Obamacare by executive order and remove exemptions for Congress, corporations, etc... They will repeal it immediately.

Congress has EARNED their 8% approval rating... in fact it's a surprise the number's that high...

A shooting war is not good at this point.

Shut down all business of any kind with China. It will hurt us bad, but it will kill China. and about the money we owe, offset it against their patent infringements of our products.

It's economic war. The economic threats and posturing aren't fooling anyone.

If by “act” you mean invade Taiwan, then yes indeed.

China is already threatening to invade Taiwan if "reunification" does progress rapidly.

Taiwan poses no military threat to China and North Korea poses an immediate nuke threat to America and our allies. Yet China insists that America be patient because maybe more sanctions and UN resolutions will make North Korea behave. Sure.

I concur with others that sanctions do not work unless their is a blockade. I assume Fat Boi would just as easily go to war in that case.

Russia steps up North Korea support to constrain US

May 17, 2017

“Despite efforts by the United Nations to impose isolating sanctions on North Korea in response to the country’s continued development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missiles, trade between Russia and North Korea soared more than 85 percent in the first four months of the year.”

Russia and North Korea declare 2015 a ‘year of friendship’

“The biggest cause for concern is the growing military alliance between Russia and North Korea, with the two regimes recently announcing plans to conduct a series of joint army, navy and air force exercises this year.”

Sanctions have not worked in the past and won’t work in the future. There will always be trade to this regime unless you put in a land, air and sea blockade.

The main issue here is trade with the US, not trade with NK.

Do it. You will see China take him out themselves.

Bullshit. The ChiComs and Russians are probably giving him his marching orders for what he's been doing, while pretending to be as concerned about it as we are.

Really? I bet all the Americans stateside who invest in Communist China products are saying the exact same as you.

I'm more than confident if the endless lines of Chinese super freighters which are lined up bumper to bumper across the Pacific, heading towards Long Beach and west coast were stopped, that would get their attention very quickly.

No?

Empty threat

Too many nations trade with North Korea to make it real.

Some may be encouraged to cease trade but others may not

Trump will not and probably cannot cease trade with China.

But all those smaller nations are not the intended trade targets. It’s Communist China who would be central for any trade target and it’s China who would take the biggest hit without question.
