The ultimate tangled hierarchy, as Dr. Amit Goswami has pointed out, is this:
If the observer principle is true — and it’s been demonstrated time and time again — then the Universe exists as it does because we observe it. But in order for us to exist, and thus observe, the Universe must be teh way it is. In other words, we depend on it, and it depends on us.
A signature of the Divine, as Dr. Goswami would say.
I do believe that any particle that can travel at the speed of light, a photon for example, does not experience the passage of time. I think that follows directly from the Theory of Special Relativity and your son would very likely know that and perhaps even be able to understand it in some sense.
Assuming this is the case them the speed of light rather loses its meaning for the participants (the photons) who move about at what we call light speeds. But for the observers of all of that (you, me and your son for example) the speed of light is well known, well understood and very, very real.
Quite the place we live in.
Quantum Entanglement?
Is that like having multiple girlfriends who just found out you are two timing them?
