Stockpiled oil burns really well when properly ignited.

It's not like China would ever cover for Iran in supplying oil to the Norkies.

Nah, the ChiComs would never do that ;-)

They can’t hide that much oil underground so our air strikes would quickly obliterate the oil.

HEY NORKS!

We can seeeeee you.

I understand what you are attempting to point out.

China has hard currency to pay the vendor and the Norks do not. Oil is fungible so the source in the ground could actually be Texas.

“... At current usage rates a million tons should last them about 10 years ...”
-
From the article:
The Tokyo Shimbun noted that one million tons is around
half to two thirds of North Korea’s annual imports of crude oil “

I thought their fearless leader was one liposuction treatment away from 1 million tons of oil.

European measurments of bunkers are in tons.
312 gallons of N2 is 1 ton.

If they’re stock piling crude they still need to refine it.

Depends on the crude.
Some gasoline cuts can be made without a high tech refinery.

Don’t know if they have any underground storage like We do in the Texas Coastal Salt Caverns but none the less it sounds to Me like a TARGET.

They probably run everything with kerosene. Easy substitute for diesel and jet fuel.

I thot petroleum was measured in barrels?

In the majority of the world that runs on the metric system, tons is the correct unit for oil.

JP-4 And JP-8 are basically kerosene. Either one will run in anything that uses diesel.
