As much as some of you hate Cruz, you’re letting your hypocrisy show.

I don’t care what these politicians say, a bill should be about ONE thing and one thing only. They use these bills s a political weapon. I remember years ago (don’t ask me exactly when but I think it was when Bush 2 was in office, probably running for reelection) there was a bill for help for Veterans. Before the bill got to a vote, the dimocrats had stuffed it full of all kinds of ridiculous pork that they knew the republicans would not vote for. When it came up for vote and the republicans had no choice but vote against it at that time, the dimocrats were SCREAMING all over the news that republicans hated the veterans and didn’t want to help them and they were to blame for veterans not getting help. Pretty obvious the dimocrats were using it as a political weapon and didn’t give a damn about doing their jobs for the American people. One item per bill will solve this.
Why would Senator Cruz back down? It's an important distinction to make at this time.
