Here’s What Politico Thinks of Texas Storm Victims

In an unbelievably classless move, Politco tweeted out the latest political cartoon from illustrator Matt Wuerker that actually mocked Texas victims of Hurricane Harvey, portraying them as Confederate sympathizers who want to secede from the United States.

In addition, the Politico cartoonist thought it appropriate to deride people’s faith as well, with a man dressed in a shirt with a Confederate flag being rescued from his rooftop and declaring: “Angels! Sent by God!” A Coast Guard pilot was shown correcting him: “Er, actually Coast Guard...Sent by the government.”

Last I heard, it was California that wants to leave the USA.

Not Texas.

Most of the folks being rescued are Mexicans, Mexican-Americans and the usual African-Americans. I’m not seeing a lot of Confederates being rescued.

Some of these people don’t realize that in Houston whites are a minority by a long shot. Somewhere around 25%.

If California agrees to take ALL illegals and 10% of liberal elites, we should all back them in their move to become their own country.

Oh, and they have to build a WALL so in 10 years when their residents are trying to break into the United States they won’t be able to get here...

I’ve noticed this common theme in liberal bubbles where I can argue with them. They say things like, “people who believe in a god are idiots”, not realizing they, a small minority of atheists, are basically insulting the human race in general.

The ignorant arrogance is almost tangible.
