Only a miracle will save the SE now. Good time for my lady friend in St. Pete to come spend a week with me up at the Maine house.
There’s still a lot of uncertainty in what the models are saying. But people in FL and up through the Carolinas need to start thinking seriously about their plans through the week in case the worst happens.
And don’t discount the threat because some crazy predictions of 180 mph winds and entire cities wiped off the map have circulated. Those are BS. But cat 3 and cat 4 winds are certainly possible.
Hurricane Watch issued for Puerto Rico and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.
FL needs to live like it’s their last week of normal. We’re here for you when it gets rough.

Great, thanks. Now most of my friends and family live around Miami and Tampa, so I worry more for them than us down here. At least we live in concrete bunkers!
Thanks! Finally got my generator started. Whew! I start it twice a year, just to be sure. But, this weekend gave me fits. All better!
