I know Gorka vehemently disagreed with Trump on staying in Afghanistan and he was upset Trump seems to have backed away from saying islamic terrorism. But does that suddenly make him persona non grata?

First, it’s almost never the case that when a superior leaves, the subordinate stays (yeah, in Comey’s case, but that’s a little different). I’m talking White House deputies. Guys want their own deputies. So when Bannon left, Gorka couldn’t stay.

Would have been highly unusual.
