BALTIMORE (AP) — The American Civil Liberties Union has filed a lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s ban on transgender individuals joining the military.
The federal lawsuit was filed in Maryland on Monday by the ACLU of Maryland on behalf of several service members who are transgender.
Trump directed the Pentagon on Friday to implement the ban on transgender individuals joining the military, which he first announced in a tweet. He also gave to the Pentagon the authority to decide the future of openly transgender people already serving.
The lawsuit says Trump’s policy violates the equal protection rights of transgender service members who now have “grave reason to fear for their careers.”

No transgender rights in UCMJ. No right to sue President Trump or US government. In fact, you can be court martialed for “Conduct Unbecoming”.

It never was about “tolerance”, it was always about “acceptance” and “dominance”.
Good try but a miss, ACLU. The military is not about such”rights”. The ban is cricket.
Fine, they can serve AS their biological sex, not as some cross-dressing freak.
Actually, this has always been the case.
They will win at the first level for sure as they almost certainly have judge shopped. We all have to remember that the judiciary is a big part of the swamp and that all Democrat appointees and likely a good number of Republican appointees hate Trump as much as the GOP-e. The judiciary may very well take this opportunity to gain defacto control over the US military by having social engineering Trump operational effectiveness.
Perhaps signing an agreement that “No medical help to further their transgender changes from operation to hormones would be provided by the US government while in the military. A ‘trans gender’ would live as dictated by their natural/birth sex. No special efforts...barracks, showers or latrines made for their beliefs. Other than that transgenders have the same rights as afforded them by our Constitution.
How about Trump counter attacks by calling the ACLU an enemy combatant.
Meanwhile people in Houston are in need of rescue and help and these self-serving jerks are still trying to be legitimate.

No one should give a sh*t what the ACLU thinks about this. If a judge issues an order, defy it.
Translation: ACLU forum shops to have liberal judge remind America that their votes are worthless. The real rulers are tyrants in black and the deep state.
