From the headline......"breaks with Trump"..., one might think there were areas where he was with Trump and we all know that this is just a reinforcement of how Ryan (and McConnell) haven't the moral clarity to do what is right.

Ryan is doing his damndest to give the middle finger to the base. He can’t keep expecting to win doing so. Just ask Eric Cantor.

After next year’s election, I think the President should ask GOP for a different speaker and make it clear that a vote to retain Ryan as speaker will be considered a vote against Trump and dealt with accordingly. With Flake and Corker and hopefully a couple other RINO senators having been defeated by that point, maybe the House GOP caucus will get the message.
