All of recent U.S. warming has been faked by NOAA. Here is the chart that demonstrates the scale of the fraud (as nailed by Steven Goddard).
You don’t need to be a scientist to see the hoax here: it’s there in blue and red. The blue is based on the raw data from weather stations in each of the U.S. states since 1990, which clearly shows a downward (ie cooling) trend. The red is what the data from these same stations shows after the climate fraudsters at NOAA have “adjusted” it. Now, instead of cooling it shows warming.
Well if nothing else, you’ve got to admire these guys’ chutzpah. As we saw from yesterday’s story Global Warming Is Almost Entirely Natural, Study Confirms, global mean temperature is currently about one degree C colder than it was at the height of the Medieval Warming Period about 850 years ago. So alarmist scientists have had to work pretty hard to advance their claim that recent warming is dramatic, unprecedented and largely man-made. Here they are, caught red-handed, torturing the data till it screams.
Let’s look at it another way. Here’s the measured surface temperature data in the U.S. since 1990 (Note: no warming trend)

What concerns me is the fear that inaccurate data is being used for our weather forecasts, which might explain why they have gotten so miserable. Hurricane Matthew last year was a prime case in point—predicted to go out to sea, yet we learn THAT MORNING that we are going to experience a direct hit later that day. Interestingly enough, the military at Camp Lejeune knew days before that the hurricane would likely be heading directly towards NC, and they canceled an exercise because of it. Last week there was an article describing how surprised the weather services were at the flooding from Matthew!!?? The article then went on to congratulate all the forecasters. Pitiful. Years ago the forecasts were much more accurate than they are now. I believe they are using faulty forecast computerized models that support the climate change agenda, at the price of lost lives due to unexpected catastrophic weather.
In America, even the weather report is lies.

This of course has been going on for years... long enough that the younger generations are now accepting this garbage as Gospel. I used to think that the data would shut them down after a while. Because to start with the warmist true believers were taking advantage of a natural cyclic upturn in temperatures after a cooling trend that went through the 60s and 70s. But when the data turned against them they just started “adjusting” it to fit their “theory”.
It is interesting how basically an ideological belief system symbolized by Rachel Carlson’s book, Silent Spring to fight DDT with fraudulent data and studies morphed into this global warming crap. And persons who are true believers gravitated toward environmental studies and have completely corrupted everything that they have touched. I would say that they have done this with a decentralized loosely organized system, but there have been many instances where they actually have been caught colluding with one another.

I believe it was NOAA that claimed one of the temperature satellites had ‘veered off course’ *(after it was discovered that the satellites showed no warming for nearly 20 years)* and they ‘readjusted’ the readings to ‘reflect the course change’ that ‘affected the readings’
in other words- they INVENTED new temperature readings out of thin air and whattayaknow- there was now warming in those 20 years-

It should have been, but lately it is sometimes difficult to tell, even on FR.

Predictably, far more of the "adjusted" data shows warming than cooling.
However - if the "raw" data is examined - there are vast swathes of the globe, the Pacific, Atlantic, Africa, and Asia, where no data whatsoever is collected. Makes sense, the world is a big place. BUT - if you overlay the "raw" and "adjusted" maps, these vast, unmonitored tracts of land, all show "warming". Even though there's not a single point of data to support it.
I'm not talking about some guy in the Arctic fudging readings on a thermometer. This is 50% - or more - of the globe where "scientists" have no idea what the surface temp is, but are completely OK with taking a swing at it. And, I'm sure that the fact that their guess supports their hypothesis is just a coincidence.
The links that I had to the maps at the NOAA are dead. I'll poke around online and see what I can find. The internet keeps everything.
