And you think someone who was doing a black op smear job would be THAT stupid enough to leave that kind of trail?
May be fake, but there is still a lot of animosity towards the Japanese because of the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. Nothing like what there was during the War, but still significant.
On the other hand, the Japanese-Americans in Hawaii were not interned. The internment order was against the Japanese-Americans on the West Coast: California, Oregon, Washington. The injustice was that the internment applied not just to the Japanese residents who were still Imperial Japanese subjects, but also to Japanese immigrants who were naturalized American citizens, and to native born American citizens of Japanese ancestry. Now the internment of residents who were still citizens of a country with which we were at war was entirely legal (and normal), but the other was a gross overreaction, taken out of fear and anger.
However, how does it happen that a Hawaiian of Japanese ancestry has grandparents who were interned? Where were they living? Where were they born? Had they become naturalized citizens? If not, of Course they were interned!
