...The Republican Party once was the party of conservatives. It still is the only place any conservative can be elected in today’s political world. So far. Unfortunately, the party of Reagan has disappeared. Trump did not make them disappear, but his improbable run, and win, has revealed who the party really is.
And it ain’t pretty.
It’s been apparent for a while that they are the stupid party. But I never thought they were this stupid.
It’s been apparent for a long time they had Stockholm Syndrome. Captured by the left, they have been cowed into being spineless mushes afraid to be called names. But I never thought it was this bad.
It’s been apparent for a while this is a party interested in taking a back seat, as long as they get money, perks, and some kind of fame. But I never thought it was this corrupt.

The Repub are just as bad as the dems in many cases. Right wing, left wing both part of the same globalist, corrupt bird. It is a vulture trying to feed on the working and middle class. I vote for conservatives not just republicans.
All elitists who support the destruction of US culture, government, and history have something in common. They think they're part of the elite that will still have power if the maniacs succeed in bringing down civilization.
Trump has revealed and destroyed a generation of GOP “leaders.” And that is why the GOPe hate him.
Better than they can just go to hell, I will help send them to hell by making damn sure to vote to replace the pustules with principled replacements. The time for passive voting is gone. If we are to prevent a bloody civil war we must wipe out the Democrat party and ALL its RINOS.

In an increasingly desirable alternate reality, the GOP leadership would be facing outraged citizen courts and swift justice. In this reality, the GOP is bleeding the Administration to death and will sup on glasses of blood like the vampires that they are.
The Republican Party Reveals Itself
Oh it was very much an intended consequence. Early in the campaign Trump would talk about the fact that “we get where the Democrats are coming from. It’s the Republicans we don’t get” except that building buildings in the heart of government and private corruption, Trump knew exactly where the Republicans were coming from.
Yep, pretty much lays it out. I think they are more corrupt than stupid though. We can still fix this problem for about $20 though. One piece of rope about 12 feet long should do the trick.
So now our choices; the republicans who are 1X bad, the liberfarians who are 5X bad, or the communists/socialists/fascists or demrats who are 10X bad. The old media empire is still very much in control.
Back in the old days, Hillary would tell her husband to produce FBI files on anyone she wanted. Since then, everything has gone high-tech. I’m sure she’s upped her game since then as well, and can blackmail anyone who fears her. And then there’s Obama and what’s left of his network of holdovers. They can blackmail anyone in power. The longer they have been in office, the more the Left has on them. I can only imagine what sick stuff they must have on McCain and McConnell.
They aren’t stupid. They are political whores who sold out to the big banks and to the globalists. Like Bush, they are doing it deliberately. Stupid implies they want the same America we do, so they must be stupid to think their policies will get us there. They aren’t stupid, they want to force us into a life they know we don’t want.
Screw the GOP. It’s time for a new party.
They're far worse. The dems are who they are. The GOP has squandered a God given opportunity to turn this country around and have worked hard to betray the people who elected them time and time again. Well, this time there are NO excuses. It's up to us to make them pay. I'll be thrilled see Jeff Flake as the first victim.
This has been my contention on this site for a very long time. We now have 3 political parties. The Conservatives, the Liberals and the Socialists. Today’s Republicans are actually Democrats. The Democrats are the Socialists and the Conservatives are the new Republicans.
They just don’t know it yet.

A couple of points of disagreement with the author:

Oh, they know, they just don’t care. They’ve got it made, benefits for life and nice gigs after they quit or are thrown out. Since neither country nor principles matter, sell yourself for a good price and laugh all the way to the bank at articles such as this accusing you of being stupid. McConnell might be many things, but he’s not dumb enough to not know how loathed he is, even the average retard knows what flipping the bird to someone means, it’s just he doesn’t care, not does he have to.

This is kind of contradicted by other statements (with which I agree) that we simply didn’t KNOW how bad until Trump’s election shone a flashlight on it.
Other than the above, yeah, pretty much....
We have a saying in the trades “You don’t get what you EXPECT, you get what you INSPECT”
So far, this has been President Trumps greatest success.
