If Nazis and KKK are Trump's base, how did he win the election?

Big media is in a feeding frenzy this week over Charlottesville and President Trump. So much so that they seem to have forgotten about Russian collusion and North Korea threatening to nuke America. No surprise as most media talking heads have the attention span of a puppy, and an I.Q. to match.

They are trying to tie Trump to Nazis, the KKK and white supremacists, saying these groups are Trump’s base. The Hill’s headline, “Trump must throw neo-Nazis and KKK out of his base.” Within their article, they begrudgingly acknowledge, “Most Trump supporters are not racist.” How sporting of them to say that. Does that mean that 49 percent of Trump voters are racists with views in line with Nazis and the KKK?

CNN contributor, presidential historian, and left-wing Democrat Douglas Brinkley supplies an actual number, saying “10 to 15 percent of Trump’s base are KKK white nationalists and alt-right racists.” Really? Given that Trump received about 63 million votes, that would mean close to 10 million are KKK members or racists.

The broader implication is that those of us who voted for Donald Trump and still support him are all racists. Not in the abstract, either. A friend of over 40 years who despises Donald Trump called me “a white racist” over my continued support of the president. As if calling me names will make me change my mind.

So how big is this racist Trump base? The far-left Southern Poverty Law Center estimates between 5,000 and 8,000 KKK members in the U.S. All of 0.003 percent of the population. For comparison, Evan McMullin received 700,000 presidential votes in 2016. The KKK couldn’t even affect McMullin’s vote tally in any meaningful way.

The democrats can’t run on issues, so they call Republicans racist. No one called Trump a racist, Nazi, homophobe, sexist, bigot, etc until he ran as a Republican.

There’s really no point in asking these questions.

It’s very clear that the time for talking is over.

We either let them smear us, or we stop them right now.

And no, The GOP isn’t going to win this fight, or any other fight, for us.

Forget the statues....Remove the Democrat Party as it is the party of slavery, the KKK and suppression of civil rights. It is the party of the Old South that created the Civil War to continue keeping Blacks as slaves.

Wrong question.

The Democratic Party formed the KKK. The Democratic Party is a socialist party in favor of totalitarian dictatorships. That is all the Nazis are. The Delusional Lying Left are much more closely related to the KKK and the Nazis than the Right.

Right question: How does the Delusional Lying Left always manage to spin the heads of the Right and get them to agree with the underlying lying presumptions of their false narratives, deflections, and delusional projections?

Considering that there’s easily only a few thousand KKK alive, and the organization is about extinct, Trump couldn’t have hoped to win even one state with them. Trump got a lot more by promising to push for jobs. Democrats are complicit to the CEOs who destroy and outsource jobs to collect more money for themselves

They have been call conservatives “nazi’s” since at least Reagan, if not before, this is nothing new.

It is just louder and their compliant media types are doing all they can to help.

Nailed it Yldstrk.

The media is accusing every single Trump voter of being a Nazi with these accusations.

That is pure defamation of their fellow Americans.

Well you must know the rats are masters in psychological projections. Everyone knows they are the Nazi, and the KKK, and no denial by them will help them

Between the KKK and the neo-Nazis, we are probably talking about 20,000 - 30,000 people nationwide. They are NOT Trump’s base, and it is a deliberate smear to suggest that they are. More than 65 million people voted for Trump.

"Democrats are complicit to the CEOs who destroy and outsource jobs to collect more money for themselves."

I clearly remember how during the Bush II years the left was always railing against "outsourcing." So, Trump comes along and promises to fix the trade agreements that led to outsourcing, and the left attacks HIM for wanting to renegotiate those deals! On top of that, they want to continue or increase mass immigration, which has some of the same effects as outsourcing, e.g., wage stagnation and loss of American jobs to foreign workers.

The leadership of the left plays its people for fools.

Anyone been to a Trump rally? Seen ANY Nazis or KKK guys there? I notice they are so proud to wear their regalia on these televised White Supremacist marches. So where were they at the Trump rallies all over this country?? The one I was privileged to attend was filled with people of all colors, though mostly white people, wearing Trump or anti-Hillary gear. I checked out everyone and no one I saw had ANYTHING remotely racist on them.

Chancellorsville was two groups of community-organized Democrats paid to pretend to be the TEA Party and the Democrats.

It was all Obama/Soros brown-shirt theater.
