One of the more suspicious explanations in politics is the resignation “in order to spend more time with family”. Right behind that is the person who gets married just prior to embarking on a political career, or talking a political career in a state that does not care about family to a national level. Harris first married at age 49 in 2014. Just sayin’.
The first few hearing in the Senate that she got press for were some remarkably unintelligent examples of badgering an witness, not particularly sharp interrogation. She has the same sort of superficial characteristics that would make a campaign consultant salivate, but so far I see no reason to think it goes beyond that. And we already tried that with Obama, and the county has not forgotten its disappointment.
So let her run. She's a black woman, dare I say more radical than obozo or Hillary with a nasty personality. Don't think she has a chance.
