I have read both that the counterprotesters had and did not have a permit.
If they had one (or two) let's see them. To whom were they granted? By whom were they granted? When were they granted?
Where was the permit granted for? What activities were permitted in the grant? Speeches? A march? A parade?
What Law Enforcement Agency had the responsibility for security and order at the permitted counterprotests? Who was in charge? From whom did they take their orders?
These things should be verifiable facts. If there were a permit, a copy exists. Someone signed it. Orders and assignments were issued to the police departments and Sheriff's Office, as they are every day. Somewhere records exist of those orders and assignments. So let's see them.
WHY isn’t a Special Council appointed to look into how the local and state authorities handled crowd control and public safety during this event? On whether they followed their own protocols and established procedures during this protest? On whether authorities gave police orders to “stand down” and if so, why did they do that? On whether the white supremacist organizer, was really a white supremacist or was he a political operative to purposely agitating groups at the event? And if he is the later, who was he affiliated with and who funded him?
Hmmmm. . . . Might he be thinking about running for Prez in 2020? I think so, Clinton bud that he is.
